That'd be WAY overpaying. A 4th would probably be the max he fetches. A swap of 2nds would be the only way Id involve a 2nd rounder.

Also, this is as classic a Belichick move as there is. They'll give up pick #73 (so Cincy gets back to back picks), they'll take back pick #110. It wont hurt them since they have 2 compensatory 3rd round picks, and they'll trade #110 for a pick that becomes a 2020 3rd.

And in 2021 when Dalton is a free agent, they'll sign him for a cheap deal, Brady gets hurt, Dalton has a 4000yd, 30TD QB, with Ross as an all-pro WR, netting a 1st rounder in their trading Dalton to Dallas.
