Does the NFL make anything from ultimate team? I see no other reason why they wouldn't let other gaming companies make a competitive game

 

I think EA pays a lot for an exclusive license if that’s what you mean

 

Yea, I assumed that but I also would think the NFL would want even more than that to keep it exclusive because well, you know.

We have more than enough cap space to sign all three, it’s just a matter if we should or not. Dak will get around $30 million a year and Cooper will get around $18 million a year and I fully support both of them getting contracts like that signed immediately.

Zeke on the other hand is (surprise, surprise) being a complete idiot. Even if you ignore all the dumbass shit off the field, he’s holding out a year early. If he actually misses games then he starts losing real money AND pushes him being a free agent out a full year. He’s an incredible player and is the cornerstone of our running game but the fact of the matter is that RB is the most easily replaced position on offense. It’s not easy to replace an elite running back in general, but our run-blocking is still elite and, if anything, the rushing game should at least be average to above average with the other guys we got. Plus, we’ve slowly but surely have moved to putting the ball in Dak’s hands more and more each season he’s played so far.

I hope we don’t sign him to anything over 2-3 years max, but that won’t happen so either he ends his hold out or trade his ass and get a 1st or something.

I get washed out of the play like 75% of the time I suck at defense

 

You gotta let yourself get blocked sometimes. Occupying a blocker so a lineman or a safety can make a play is still good. Madden tends to reward you hitting the right gap regardless if you made the play or not.

Also, strafing is your friend. Both in pass coverage and run defense. Madden has made it so sprinting into the backfield (or sprinting right away with a RB) doesn’t really work, it more so rewards patience to find the right hole. So sometimes the best option is to stay parallel and wait for the right chance to take an angle to the ballcarrier.

I try to get fast LB so whenever I play against a team or user that likes to scramble, I can split the difference and cover drags / slants while also staying in range to tackle the QB. @CarpetElf will confirm that I am very good at this and it’s basiclaly how I slow down his college-style offense lol

 

Man the jags need to MF sign Ngakoue so they can MF KEEP getting those 10 sacks and 6 forced fumbles per season and print more medium MF Ngakoue jerseys in the MF teal color so I can MF buy one
