One good thing and one bad thing about each team

Arizona Cardinals
Good: They are a historic franchise and I like watching them when they're good.
Bad: Since they drafted Kyler Murray, they won't be.

Atlanta Falcons
Good: Julio Jones is a monster.
Bad: I have never been afraid of the Falcons before.

Baltimore Ravens
Good: Lamar Jackson is the man and they've had some amazing defenses.
Bad: When they've been at their best they've been such a boring team to watch offensively.

Buffalo Bills
Good: Incredible fanbase and they have some cool uniforms.
Bad: LeSean McCoy plays for them.

Carolina Panthers
Good: Cam Newton is an incredible player and also he's hot.
Bad: They play in North Carolina.

Chicago Bears
Good: At their best they've had wonderful defensive play which is always fun.
Bad: Their best QB of all time is Jay Cutler.

Cincinnati Bengals
Good: I almost never have to watch them.
Bad: Sometimes I do.

Cleveland Browns
Good: Baker Mayfield is awesome and Blimp is awesome.
Bad: They signed Kareem Hunt.

Dallas Cowboys
Good: I don't have to interact with many of their fans since I live in Dallas. Also I like Dak Prescott.
Bad: The fanbase went straight from defending Greg Hardy to defending Ezekiel Elliott and I'm sick of them enabling the shittiest people consistently.

Denver Broncos
Good: I hear their stadium is awesome and Von Miller is one of the few Aggies I love.
Bad: John Elway is more overrated as a GM than he was at QB and it's their fault the Texans signed Osweiler.

Detroit Lions
Good: Matthew Stafford can light it up and they've had some amazing skill position players.
Bad: The Lions were so bad those skill position players retired.

Green Bay Packers
Good: Aaron Rodgers is an incredible QB and I feel very lucky I got to see him play. Favre was also a favorite of mine back in the day before I understood how awful he was.
Bad: Go Pack Go chant annoys me every time I hear it in Madden and I also can barely name 5 starters on that team.

Houston Texans
Good: Watson is the future and Deandre Hopkins can catch anything.
Bad: No one's throwing a Lombardi trophy towards Deandre Hopkins anytime soon.

Indianapolis Colts
Good: Andrew Luck is very loveable and Frank Reich is going to be an astounding coach.
Bad: They got Andrew Luck after ONE SEASON without a top 3 QB and for that reason fuck em.

Jacksonville Jaguars
Good: Jalen Ramsey is a superstar and I love watching him shut down receivers.
Bad: Any time the team gains 5 yards I know I have a Randall/Matt argument to fear.

Kansas City Chiefs
Good: Mahomes is my favorite QB of all time.
Bad: Pretty much everyone else on the team is a piece of shit and Mahomes probably enables that as well.

Miami Dolphins
Good: I hope Rosen can do well on the team. They have dope throwback uniforms and I love their secondary. Xavien Howard is a blast to watch and I'll root for Fitzpatrick to succeed forever after his tenure on the Texans.
Bad: Heat fans like them.

Minnesota Vikings
Good: They have such an incredible roster on paper.
Bad: This isn't paper football.

New England Patriots
Good: Dave is a cool guy and I like the Celtics and am glad David Ortiz is going to be okay. I also love their throwbacks.
Bad: The entire fucking organization.

New Orleans Saints
Good: New Orleans fucking loves their team and when they're doing well it's really fun to watch.
Bad: Payton can be really annoying and they took out Brett Favre and Kurt Warner.

New York Giants
Good: Saquon Barkley is an incredible player.
Bad: New York fans are something else.

New York Jets
Good: I admittedly REALLY want Sam Darnold to succeed and that offense has a lot of potential to be fun.
Bad: Adam Gase bahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

Oakland Raiders
Good: I don't have to worry about them being good and also @oldjersey is changing his Final Fantasy XIV name to "Gruden Grinder" which is hilarious
Bad: They have one of the most annoying fanbases I've ever interacted with and Derek Carr is a jabroni.

Philadelphia Eagles
Good: Wentz is fun to watch, Dawkins is one of my favorite safeties ever, the team makes up half the thread.
Bad: They leapfrogged us to draft Andre Dillard which may have accidentally caused a chain reaction of some of the Texans worst decisions in a while.

Pittsburgh Steelers
Good: Despite being the team with the most rings in football there are so many things to like about the Pittsburgh Steelers in my opinion.
Bad: The most important position in football contains the most unlikeable player on the Steelers.

Los Angeles Rams
Good: Todd Gurley is very good and I really want him to rebound after his injury.
Bad: St Louis deserved better and I'm tired of hearing about how good this team that spent a shitton of money for semi-good players is.

Los Angeles Chargers
Good: Melvin Gordon is very good and LaDanian Tomlinson is one of my favorite running backs ever.
Bad: They're continuously overrated because of how good they are on paper and it gets annoying hearing about "The Chargers are gonna do it!" just to watch them lose to a mediocre team in the playoffs each time they make it.

San Francisco 49ers
Good: Jimmy G is the second hottest QB.
Bad: They're somehow a spoiled and pathetic franchise which is a fascinating combination.

Seattle Seahawks
Good: Russell Wilson is a great QB and Richard Sherman was a ton of fun on the Seahawks.
Bad: They could easily extend their window and instead they seem to be letting it close rapidly.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Good: They're not the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Bad: Somehow I hate them even more.

Tennessee Titans
Good: Nashville seems like a cool place.
Bad: Everything else about them. I hate anyone who has ever worn a Titans jersey. I was a massive Mookie Betts fan till I saw a picture of him in Titans attire and now he's on my shit list forever.

Bad: Tyrann Mathieu Kyler/Kliff will probably be fun but it should not be good.

Good: New #2 Go Deion.
Bad: They've peaked.

Baltimore Ravens
Good: Lamar Jackson is a beast and they should be a very fun to watch on both sides of the ball.
Bad: They should be very fun. They won't be.

Good: The entire defense.
Bad: The entire offense.

Carolina Panthers
Good: They have the best collection of unique offensive weapons.
Bad: They waste them.

Chicago Bears
Good: They were dominant on defense and inventive on offense.
Bad: Honeymoon's over.

Cincinnati Bengals
Good: Go Big Red.
Bad: Literally everything else.

Cleveland Browns
Good: Geaux Tigers. I'm a huge fan of every player on that team but one.
Bad: That one is Kareem Hunt.

Good: I love Dak Prescott.

Good: Elway loves the same kind of receivers, tight ends, corners, and linebackers as I do.
Bad: Everyone else Elway is stupid about.

Good: Kerryon Johnson and Kenny Golladay are two of my favorite sleepers.
Bad: They are buried in the division so who cares?

Green Bay Packers
Good: Aaron Rodgers, at his best, is the most talented quarterback of all time.
Bad: Drew.

Houston Texans
Good: They have some of the most likable players in the NFL both on and off the field.
Bad: Having to root against those people and also having to know Dustin and know he'll never see them win.

Indianapolis Colts
Good: Andrew Luck.
Bad: Andrew Luck.

Jacksonville Jaguars
Good: My favorite defensive roster in the NFL.
Bad: Every time we have the ball.

Kansas City Chiefs
Good: Patrick Mahomes, Andy Reid, and Tyrann Mathieu
Bad: Fuck Tyreek Hill

Good: Love Rosen, their throwbacks and Xavien Howard.
Bad: They're in Miami.

Good: One of the most talented teams in football.
Bad: Apparently this doesn't matter.

Good: Rex Burkhead has a Super Bowl ring.
Bad: Danny Etling has a Super Bowl ring.

New Orleans Saints
Good: Drew Brees may be the most likable QB in the NFL. Alvin Kamara and Michael Thomas are legitimate contenders for two of the best players to ever put on a Saints uniform.
Bad: They traded a first round pick for Marcus Davenport.

New York Giants
Good: Saquon Barkley is a generational talent. I like Daniel Jones. Evan Engram is good.
Bad: I don't even care enough to have a negative opinion.

New York Jets
Good: That defense is gonna wreck this league.
Bad: Adam Gase is gonna wreck this team.

Oakland Raiders
Good: Jon Gruden.
Bad: Jon Gruden.

Philadelphia Eagles
Good: Carson Wentz's inability to stay healthy may have helped us.
Bad: Carson Wentz's inability to stay healthy may have fucked us.

Pittsburgh Steelers
Good: Should be a very fun team to watch this year.
Bad: Big Ben.

Los Angeles Rams
Good: We get to watch history when we watch Aaron Donald.
Bad: We get to watch history wear those shitty white helmets.

Los Angeles Chargers
Good: Underdogs and they have one of the best and most complete teams.
Bad: The largest difference between talent and success in the NFL. I'm not even a fan yet my heart breaks for them every year.

San Francisco 49ers
Good: Kyle Shanahan is building a fun team.
Bad: There's literally no option for this team that doesn't involve me being VERY wrong about something.

Seattle Seahawks
Good: Russell Wilson is very fun to watch and they drafted the Griffin twins.
Bad: Every time they pick in the first round I want to fire Pete Carroll for them.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Good: Jameis Winston is probably gone.
Bad: Jameis Winston is not gone yet.

Tennessee Titans
Good: They draft players I love.
Bad: And then fuck them up.

Washington Potatoes:
Good: They're building a very good roster that makes me want to like them.

Some of these thoughts will be past or present or both. Just shooting from the hip. I've watched football since I was a kid but Romo changed me from a Cowboys fan to a full-blown NFL fan, so these thoughts are from roughly the last 10-15 years. And unless I state otherwise, I enjoy most every team doing well unless it hurts our chances of winning. I just love football a shitload.

Arizona Cardinals - I was cheering for them hard in the Super Bowl against the Steelers and was crushed for multiple reasons when they lost. Ever since then, they seem to be in a tailspin riddled with coaching changes, injuries to crucial players, and just good ol' bad luck.

Atlanta Falcons - Utterly forgettable and almost doesn't needle for me positively or negatively. Ryan is a really good quarterback but seems to still not take the games into his own hands, but I could be wrong since I don't watch them nearly as much as I do other teams.

Baltimore Ravens - I loved their most recent Super Bowl run quite a bit except that Ray Lewis annoys the shit out of me. Harbaugh is a really good coach but I have no idea what they're doing with Lamar Jackson. They win a pretty good amount with him but man, it is not a good idea to continue to use him so much that way going forward. Especially if you are wanting him to be the long term answer.

Buffalo Bills - They inadvertently helped us build our second dynasty and have incredible fans, from what I can tell. "The Four Falls of Buffalo" is one of the best '30 for 30' documentaries available. Plus, ETID are huge fans, so that's a plus.

Carolina Panthers - Cam can be a shithead sometimes but I have always liked the Panthers for some reason. I don't know if it's the colors or that they're in a division with boring teams or teams I can't stand.

Chicago Bears - When I think of the history of football, they're the team I think of first. Classic coaches, players, and uniforms. I love Cutler. Great team with a great legacy.

Cincinnati Bengals - The Falcons of the AFC. Dalton isn't as bad as people make him out to be but outside of a year or two, he's basically only average.

Cleveland Browns - They've been terrible as long as I remember, save one or two seasons maybe. Everybody is jumping on the bandwagon now with Mayfield doing pretty well last year but his 'my shit doesn't stink' attitude is really rubbing me the wrong way. Some people can be cocky because they've earned it but I'm going to need more than about half a losing season with decent stats before I say he's anything more than good.

Dallas Cowboys - Born and raised here. Lifelong fan. Enough said.

Denver Broncos - I've lost my mind in here in the past over Elway and the disrespect I feel he gets. I don't love the guy but he was a great quarterback and has done pretty damn well as a GM so far. You can't win every single year so I think what he's done has been, at the very least, enough to not be hated for whatever the reason is.

Detroit Lions - I haven't paid enough attention to them over the past five or so years but I have an extremely vivid memory of the shellacking the Saints gave them in the 2011 playoffs. I mainly feel bad for their fans and Stafford for having to deal with what I assume is shitty front offices and coaching.

Green Bay Packers - I can't stand Aarogant Rodgers, or the team in general, but he's one of the most talented quarterbacks I've ever seen. And he's after having another top 20 all-time quarterback before that. About 30 years of some of the greatest play we've ever seen: a dozen or two playoff appearances, 5 MVP's, and "only" 2 Super Bowl wins. Goddamn this league is tough as hell to win.

Houston Texans - For the most part, it seems that Texans fans hate the Cowboys and want us to lose as much as possible, but I always want them to do well. They've had a few all-time greats play for them already and that's impressive for being less than 20 years old.

Indianapolis Colts - I don't really have a good reason but something about them have always rubbed me the wrong way. I think part of it was the anointing of Luck as the next Jesus Christ without proving much, but that could be unfair since it's probably just the loud obnoxious fans and/or media.

Jacksonville Jaguars - They've always felt liked the plucky underdogs that I liked watching steal away games here and there but I ultimately don't really care too much (or know a lot) about them. I know that in 2017 the amount of hyperbole made me extremely annoyed and was glad at first that the Patriots won but in hindsight, I think that defense could have stopped Foles in the Super Bowl. Ugh, thanks a lot guys.

Kansas City Chiefs - They were always a bore of a team to me until they got Alex Smith. The 49ers did him dirty and I was thrilled he did so well here. Now that he's moved on... I don't know. They're kind of 'whatever' to me again.

Miami Dolphins - They're another team like the Bears when I think of the history of football. They've had some all-time great coaches and players and are still the lone perfect team. Obviously they haven't been good or great in a while but I think they have a good legacy to hang your hat on.

Minnesota Vikings - I've always had an affinity for them and I'm not even fully sure why. I love purple, so that was the beginning I guess, haha. I did love that Favre ended up there on an old rivals' team and then had one of his best seasons ever. I was pulling hard for them after they knocked us out in 2009 then the damn dirty Saints knocked them out. Ugh.

New England Patriots - I hated them for the longest time because they were so damn good at literally everything but after a while, I just had to throw my arms up and just realize that we're watching possibly the best dynasty in sports history. I think Belichick is the best coach ever and that Brady is the best quarterback ever. And I think he is arguably the greatest NFL player of all time to boot. They're incredible.

New Orleans Saints - I hate Payton and his dickhead attitude. I think Brees is a lying punk acting like he didn't know anything about Bountygate and I'm thrilled every time they have their last loss of the season.

New York Giants - Even though they're a rival, I don't have much hate for them at all for some reason. Even when they directly beat us or keep us from the playoffs, I just shrug and move on.

New York Jets - I think they get shit on too much. Even in their bad seasons, it's rarely truly embarrassing. And they almost always seem to be in each game. I like when they're good.

Oakland Raiders - Great legacy. Great colors. They're kind of the NFL all wrapped up in one team.

Philadelphia Eagles - Absolutely can't stand them. I'm sure it's because we're rivals but I rarely get more pleasure out of beating a team or watching a team lose unless it's them. I hate them more than any other team, by far.

Pittsburgh Steelers - Huge team with an important history. I just wish they didn't have more rings than us. Otherwise, they're a 'meh' from me.

Los Angeles Rams - I don't really care about them either way. They've mostly been dreadful in my memory but seem to be a top 3-5 team in the NFC right now. I hope that changes though.

Los Angeles Chargers - They're another 'meh' team to me. My favorite thing about them was Tomlinson and that's about it.

San Francisco 49ers - Used to be a big rival but have dropped off quite a bit. I think it started with moving on from Alex Smith when he was on the rise and then moving on from Harbaugh so quickly. What a dumb series of decisions that was. I'm glad they did it though, for our sake.

Seattle Seahawks - I absolutely love the Seahawks and they'd probably be my team if I wasn't already a Cowboys fan. As long as they're not in my way, I cheer for them.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers - They've been so boring for so long that I don't even know what to put here. I can barely name their current coaches or players at this point.

Tennessee Titans - I was so hopeful that Mariota would kill it and started off pretty damn well but injuries and his own limited talent has just made them so uninteresting and milquetoast.

Washington Redskins - Outside of one or two seasons they haven't been relevant so it's hard to hate on them more than them just being a rival, I guess.
