This is why I'm happy the Eagles did what they did with Wentz.

 

I rarely listen to sport radio and don’t have a Facebook or anything, but that seems to be all over reddit and twitter and shit. I’m already sick of just the worst opinions on it.

 

Yup. I listen to sports radio and I'm tired of it. I have had enough of Eagles fans calling in and refuse to show support for Wentz because they can't let go of Foles.

In almost every stat, DAK is average to below average. The stat he's most dominant in, Sacks. Greeeeat. Talk about losing him setting the Cowboys back for 5 years? What good is being in neutral for 5 years? If that team even makes a Super Bowl in the next 5 i'll eat my hat.

Yeah I think there are plenty of arguments against Dak Prescott, stats aren't one though

15th in yards
16th in TDs
22nd in TD%
19th in Yards/Attempt
21st in Yards/Game
18th in QBR behind a truly elite Joe Flacco
2nd in Sacks RIP Deshaun Watson
28th in Sack Percentage

 

So like...on paper it's not encouraging so then you go to Youtube and search Dak Prescott and you're met with a horror show of him reading a book in the pocket for a few chapters, confusing what color jerseys are the good guys, dropping the ball because he didn't wash his hands after a buttery biscuit. Idk i do not see like anything redeeming.

 

Completion percentage and interception percentage???

 

Who knows? Maybe he'll sign that second contract, be filled with confidence and swagger from being the highest paid QB in the league and tear it up. Entirely possible! But like...saying Dak is gonna be the guy to move your team forward is odd to me.

What are his stats since Amari Cooper came on board? That's what I'm interested in given how much a QB depends on having at least 1 above average WR (Dallas had 0 before the trade).

 

Also yes RIP Deshaun's knees or what's left of them

 

I'm sure they're better. I don't have them offhand, i know Dino does. And if They look like studs for a full season, again i'll shut up. But until then, i'm gonna take the much larger body of work which is basically his entire career over a hot steak.

 

Granted truly great QBs do make WRs better even if they're not all that good but I'm not saying Dak is truly great just that he is above average and good

 

I honestly think i'm being fair in saying he is the 15th-20th best QB. Average to slightly below average. It's not like i'm honestly saying Danny Etling is better, though Danny Etling is the future GOAT.

But between the guys we KNOW are better, and the guys we can project to be better Dak Prescott is a big ol' meh to me.

 

20th is insanely low.

 

20 feels low but 15 feels fine. Idk if I agree or not but I can hear the argument of someone calling Dak 15th best and understanding where it's coming from and that it's backed up well

 

And yes I would pay a top 15 quarterback over gambling on the draft

 

Yeah 15th is perfectly fine. The average is also better than it used to be.

 

Exactly, the league is kinda stuffed with good quarterback play right now despite how hard it can be to find in the draft
