That's pretty normal when your team loses a good player or front office person. Start to downplay how important they were to your team. We all do it.

Malcolm Butler didn't even intercept that pass. Bill Belichick did it with his mind.

 

I always say, no one ever some of the folks next to the gm who turns things around. There's probably plenty of gms who stink initially but found the right people to help them and really pushed the team in a better direction.

 

I see some rumors that I may have been right and bob pushed gaine out. Why is this dude so all powerful? Hahaha

It seems ridiculous considering BOB seemed to get along with Gaine way more than Rick.

Gaine was BOB's guy so I don't think that's the case. Hopefully that means BOB is out the door soon too though, and if the rumors are actually somehow true then I REALLY want BOB out the door.

 

Texans should honor BOB's decision making by firing him and setting the interim HC during the 3rd quarter of game 1

I'm so ready for Dak to just sign whatever contract it is so everyone can just move on. Times like these in the offseason with big news on a close horizon is definitely the doldrums. Just get it over with so people can move onto other bad takes.

I hope he doesn’t sign a contract that big but if he does, it makes sense when you look at new franchise QB’s contracts from every single year.

 

Right, it makes sense why that has to be the price, but I would be just so god damn impressed if the Cowboys were just like...Nah, you're not that good, we'll find another you.

 

Finding someone as good as him or better for cheaper is extremely unlikely.

 

So unlikely that not signing him would be an enormous mistake and set our franchise back 5+ years.

 

Nothing about him is gonna be cheap in like a week. So why not draft a replacement. Mediocre & Cheap > Mediocre & Expensive.

 

Except he’s an above average, not mediocre.
