Wentz has proven that he's a good franchise quarterback and worth signing. The only reservations about him is his health and seeing if he can carry a subpar offense, but that could be said about all but maybe 4 or 5 quarterbacks and I imagine he'd do better now with experience than he did with his rookie team who wasn't all that great around him.

 

It's weird that he signed first out of him, Dak, and Goff. I feel like I've heard way more about Dak and Goff's contract talks and whatnot than Wentz. They were very quiet about it all. Too quiet...

 

I'll trade big Ben for wentz

 

yeah wentz is worth that contract, the picks they gave up to get him, and more. I know he didn’t show as much last year but he was a legit MVP candidate two years. May as well lock him up ASAP before more people get paid

 

Goff on the other hand............

 

Smart to get him locked up before Goff and Dak tbh. If the Rams/Cowboys pull some dumb shit then Wentz can easily argue he's worth more.

 

They each have varying pros and cons compared to each other and I don't think any of them are head and shoulders unquestionably better or worse than the others. It just depends on which pros and cons you're comfortable with signing long term.

I do wish Dak signed first though, dammit.

 

Wentz - can't stay healthy
Goff - can't perform in big games
Dak - plays for the Cowboys
