Also, I've never had $10,000 dollars of disposable income at one time in my entire life so it's daunting thinking about getting married in the future

The new job doesn't start until 6/17 but I'm already getting e-mails getting stuff ready and set up and planned early and the benefits and perks are just insane, man. Literally life-changing shit, guys.

2019 is the best year I've had in at least a decade, maybe ever.

 

My wedding was about $4,000 total. And then $1,000 for the honeymoon.

I was ready to get on the Jets hype train, I'm not so sure I'm ready to do that yet.

Well a lot of it is because I really like Darnold.

 

Reasons Madden still sucks:

1) Throwing the ball away is slow as fuck. Why does it always give you a 1.5 second lag when a defender is coming? Defeats the whole purpose of having a "throw away" option. But somehow you get rid of the ball immediately when you are about to throw an INT.

2) Defenders fuckin stand there when the ball goes over their head. Meanwhile opposing receivers come back to the ball, but god forbid your receiver AI ever acts like a professional fucking receiver and does that for you.

3) Throwing with anticipation is so goddamn inconsistent. Literal 50/50 split between the QB doing what you want and doing the exact opposite, throwing right where a defender is. Really makes me wish they brought back QB vision so you could be more intentional with where you want the ball. Throwing to a "spot" doesn't fucking work.

4) You can dive at a receiver's legs and still get a fuckin facemask. That doesn't seem like a very difficult fix.

5) When it rains, it pours. If you play bad for half a quarter the AI generates "momentum" and while this is a true concept, Madden overcompensates WILDLY for this and makes it impossible to do fuckin anything.

6) Why would the L stick AND the directional pad both control "precision passing"? I use the L stick to move around and it often causes me to throw in a direction I didn't intend. How hard is it to have separate controls for moving and for aiming, when there's literally THREE different directional buttons on the controller?

Idk how we've gone so many Madden's and they still think that making your team forget how to fucking play football, while the other team is awesome, is a realistic way to increase the difficulty.
