He doesn't yet know what it's like to go from the steelers ol to the jets

In an interview today he basically said they were going to use him in space, so he'll be running away from the collapsing ol or catching screens rather than running it up the middle a whole bunch

Steelers OL is a lot better than the NYJ OL, but it should be one of the more improved units in the NFL in 2019.

A healthy Brian Winters, no Spencer Long, and the addition of Kelechi Osemele makes their interior pretty solid.

Speaking of the Steelers, I have a question. Do you all think Ben Roethlisberger is a Hall of Famer at this point in his career?

Been to two, lost both. No playoff wins since 1990 but seven appearances. Probably in Arizona territory in the misery index because they were god-awful for most of the 90's and early 00's with their good recent years resulting in no playoff success. I still think the Lions own the top spot because their futility extends back to the 50's.

We're discussing at times whether Eli is a HOF candidate...so yeah, Ben is as locked in a HOF candidate as there is.

Also, Bell got to catch screen passes behind one of the best passing O-lines and WR groups...aint nobody buying the same threat from Darnold/Enunwa that they were from Ben/AB

Just checked outta curiosity and if Big Ben can get 5k more yards he'll pass Dan Marino and have the 5th most all time passing yards in NFL history.

Pittsburgh didn't give him any touches last season, so I guess in a sense he's right.

Tom Brady is a renowned shit talker on the field yet he gets in front of a camera and is just golly gee willickers. I honestly get the hate with him haha

I think Osemele/Winters could bounce back and be in the top 5-10 guard combos in the league.

A little late to the conversation, but: the Lions aren’t just bad, they’re so bad they drove two of the best offensive players of all-time to early retirement. Their last playoff win was 1991, which was their first playoff win since 1957. They were the first team to go 0-16 in the 16 game regular season. From 1957-2009, post Bobby Layne until Matthew Stafford, they had virtually no quarterback. In that time frame, their biggest division rival went from Brett Favre to Aaron Rodgers. And in their most recent competitive playoff game, a pivotal penalty flag was thrown and then picked up with no explanation in real-time (whether or not you think it was a penalty, the situation was baffling in the moment).

That’s a short summary of Lions related pain, only the Browns really compete over the same time period. If you shorten it to the last 25-30 years, most of it still stands.

Holy shit, I hope that's true he won't play for them. It would be the death knell for their offense if he isn't playing for them anymore.

The NFC is going to be competitive only between two teams. The days that division was the best in the league
