I feel like the schedules changed because a few days ago I read it was gonna be Kelly before Douglas too but it seems like they moved a bit. That's probably why I was confused. Either way, probably gonna be done soon.

Douglas went to dinner with the team last night and his interview continued into today. Like you said, I expect it to get done soon but this team is known to screw things up.

Yea, definitely sounds interesting. isn't Kelly's position with the bears the same now as the one he would get with the jets if he became Douglas assistant? Seems kind of like a lateral move. Can you imagine if they did this before mccags made all the offseason moves? It would've made the jets look sooo much better. It's kind of funny how they fumbled that too.

Rich Cimini suggested the Jets could bring him in as Vice President of Football Operations -- Douglas' second in command in the front office. That would be a promotion for him.

No, John Idzik was hired through a consulting firm (Korn Ferry) that Woody Johnson hired. He's made a series of bad mistakes since Bill Parcells left.

Parcells recommended Mike Tannenbaum, who was a solid GM with Eric Mangini keeping him in check and then Rex Ryan let him go all out to the point of no return.

The Johnsons (especially Woody) are shitty, reactionary owners that don't know the sport well enough to make their own informed decisions. Douglas would be an exceptional hire on paper, but Christopher Johnson isn't making this decision. Adam Gase has his ear all the way.

In your defense, I think there’s a transitional period you need with a new madden/game to kinda get it. When you’re used to another and play a new one, yourealize you can’t pull some of the shit you’re used to pulling

 

I made fun of him but then threw 7 INTs with Bridgewater. But i at least won
