I added to DC list. That city has a buncha shit. It’s a shame their subway stops are too sparse. It’s a buzzkill to travel between all those things.

 

Southend definitely has the better options for bars and food but the crowd is too fratty for me lol

 

From the outside, I'd go Five Points, OF4, Cabbagetown, EAV, and whatever west of Atlantic Station is

I dig Little Five, Piedmont Park, Old Fourth Ward, Midtown, East Atlanta Village, Virginia Highlands, Inman Park, Decatur from what I’ve seen

 

Yeah I definitely dont care for the people there but Sycamore is dope.

 

Yeah I've found a lot of places that seem dope. It's very neighborhood oriented, which I love in a city.

 

and Futo Buta is delicious

That’s awful. One of the worst things for someone to go through.

 

I think it was probably discussed but hope y’all are good from the tornadoes going around. We had a bad one here that was within a mile from my apartment but luckily didn’t get hit.

It’s really sad because the places the tornado ended up tearing into are generally the low income parts of dayton

Slow morning so I will give my thoughts on the Indy 500

First of all, Indy is a cool town. Found some really nice areas to eat and drink and the people were pretty nice overall.

As for the race, we were in the Snake Pit in the infield which is a concert area. And the lineup is typically EDM and this year was no different. Skrillex was the headliner lol. But the concert went from like 8am to 3pm and you would have no idea there was a race if you didn't leave that area. We got VIP tickets which allowed us entrance into this area with our own bathrooms that were never crowded, our own bars, etc. EDM isn't my thing but when 30K people are dancing for 7 hours straight it's a shit ton of fun. And everyone was super nice. When I go to a rock show everyone is an asshole typically, but here everyone was really awesome. We were also in the upper 10% of age probably - I would say most of the kids were 18-25.

I left the concert area for a bit and was able to find a breach in security (a hole in the fence) to get pretty damn close to the track and was able to watch the race for a bit. Also, as long as you don't bring a gun or glass bottles you can do about whatever you want. You were allowed to bring in food and beer in specific sized coolers.

Anyway, my old ass was able to drink probably 25-30 beers between 730 am and 3pm and I didn't die so 10/10 experience.

 

skrillex and NASCAR in the same sentence is kinda weird, Indy is underrated but the rest of the state stinks.

 

The grouping makes no sense but the people going to the concert part of the Indy 500 are not interested in the race I would assume.

Also, I think Indy car racing has a different fan base than NASCAR. Some cross over for sure.

No I have to assume 90% or more do not know he was in From First to Last. That would have been cool though if he mixed one of those songs in with something else. I was also very drunk and EDM all runs together and sounds the same at some point.

I was drunk at Austin City Limits and got thrown out of a Skrillex set once which I didn't even know could happen at a festival

I didn't even really care for Skrillex but that day I did apparently
