Baltimore was dope. Obviously it wouldn’t rank high in most metrics. Shitty politics, gotta know where to avoid the crime, mass transit isn’t great, etc. A person who has anxiety about these things probably wouldn’t give it a chance

But if you know where you’re going, and you’re not like trying to raise a family, Baltimore is awesome. And downright charming. Lot of creative stuff going on and I wouldn’t necessarily say that Atlanta’s charm “replaces” that spot in my heart for Baltimore, the two have totally different appeal.

Adam’s Morgan is better nightlife than any of Baltimore, but as a whole I like Baltimore’s nightlife more than DC

DC has the better parks and food, Baltimore has the better art and local music. Both have beautiful Victorian architecture in the nice neighborhoods, DC has the edge because although it has more cookie cutter modern bougie shit, it also has fewer dilapidated areas haha.

Baltimore is about half the cost to go out in, though and that’s a huge plus when you don’t work a salaried job haha

  14. Pittsburgh in no order

    South side
    Lawrenceville
    Strip district
    Shadyside
    Mt washington
    North side
    Dormont
    Oakland
    Regent square
    Bakery square

I'd rank them but gun to my head I only know the names of a couple neighborhoods in Tally and Jax. You just go places there cause that's where the things to do are.

    Jacksonville
    1) St. Augustine (lmao but it’s seriously true. That’s where you go for your birthday or a really nice date or take the kids or actually PLAN a weekend)

    2) Five Points / Riverside
    3) Jacksonville Zoo & Botanical Gardens (shockingly good)
    4) Hanna Park / Little Talbot Island
    5) Jacksonville Beach
    6) Atlantic Beach
    7) Ortega Park
    8) the “Elbow” downtown
    9) San Marco
    10) Murray Hill

That’s actually very little of the city though and the rest of it can fuck off. For reference, Jax’s “five points” would barely make my top 10 in DC and would not make my top 10 in Baltimore.

St Augustine is excellent though, always forget how much I love it there

Baltimore is underrated. That’s all imma say. It has its issues yeah but people totally judge it too harshly and assume the whole city is like that.

Like anywhere else, it has its awesome neighborhoods. That’s just more like 30% of the city than 50 or 60% hahaha

    Jags 3-0** Prestigious

Jacksonville’s cool areas are like 5% of the city and you can actually subtract that because it’s coolest area is not actually in the city

This actually made me laugh, imagining someone in their head saying this lol

“yo y’all wanna go to Orange Park Mall?” Except this is a 28 year old with money, not a 15 year old with permission from their parents
