I'd honestly be happy moving closer to my work, I work about 45 minutes outside of Boston, but my gf works right in the heart of Boston so we need to stay close.

I'm looking at apartments now and a very nice one bedroom one bathroom here is around $1,100-$1,200.

Yeah, I could probably get a house for less of a monthly payment but I don't want that commitment yet.

 

We're getting a house for less but yeah we're married so I get not wanting to do that

We are literally sandwiched between Little Five Points, Old Fourth Ward, Inman Park, Freedom Park, and East Atlanta Village.

So all the artsy, local business run neighborhoods of East Atlanta basically. And one of the city’s main parks. We are also a quarter mile from the Beltline bike / jogging trails that connect the whole city, and half a mile from rapid transit.

Most the places I looked at were in Edgewood or Reynoldstown, which is a lot of hills and potholes / cracked sidewalks from the super bike-able part of town. So given that we both don’t even have cars right now, we REALLY lucked out to be where we’re at and still save money.

Most everything in that area is at least $1350 a month and that’s for SMALL 2 BR apartments that are really better for couples or college roommates than two single adults.

By the way @CarpetElf yes it does have central AC

 

For a one-bedroom? Holy shit you can HAVE that, I’m good
