Oh anyone that has a phobia of bugs is allowed to hate Florida. That’s definitely one of the most annoying parts. Fleas, mosquitoes, and cockroaches especially.

 

Seriously...when you look at my list of fears...bugs and catastrophic weather...I'm really meant to live in Boston. We get snow. Fluffy snow.

I can deal with moderate cold, I’m not a whiney baby like most Floridians when it goes down to 30-40 degrees. But extreme cold is a no for me. The few times we got a Boston-like winter front in Maryland I fucking HATED it lol

Weather at 10 degrees and below, even if you’re completely bundled up, just having your face exposed feels like your skin is getting scraped off and dementors are sucking your soul out of your body

 

No idea. (Honestly, I'm okay. My rent is about $850 for a bedroom and private bathroom.) My gf and I are probably gonna get a 1 bedroom in the $1,700/month area soon.

I guess the counterpoint is the fact that I'm in a tornado warning

 

I mean, I could get a mortgage for less, but i'm not there yet. I'd rather pay a bit more to rent and be closer to the city and pay down debt instead of continuing to add to my debt.

 

Eh I'm going to disagree with that thought process overall but I can definitely understand wanting to stay living in the city

 

I've never seen lightning so strong during thunderstorms before, looking out the window felt like I was looking right at the flash of a Kodak at times. There was also a tornado hail storm a few weeks ago with like 10 tornados throughout. That's literally never happened before, I woke up thinking there was a hurricane or something.
