I'm going with 13-16 is a perfectly fine range for him.

 

I think there are one or two there you could argue that Dak has been better than recently, but even if there weren't, then that's still putting him in "arguably 12th" which is what I said earlier.

He’s certainly an above average QB, Especially now with a go to receiver like cooper. So the range from 12-15 seems respectable.

 

I think Dak is the new Dalton line in the friendliest QB era of all time

 

Yeah, that's all I'm saying but apparently it's heresy to some people. With Cooper, he was top ten in most QB categories in general.

Dak is easily better than Carr, Tannehill, and I could definitely argue he's better than Cousins and Newton, especially as of late. Mayfield was a rookie and doesn't have a full season to judge from, so putting him anywhere on any list as a "definitely" is questionable. I could argue as Dak being better than Watson, too, but people here don't even want to entertain the thought of comparing them, so whatever on that. Hell, I still think that he, Goff, and Wentz are arguably around the same level of talent but all three flourish AND flounder when they do or don't have talent around them.

Everyone else in your post I have easily below Dak, except that top ten-ish list you posted.

 

That is so not correct to me haha I think Mayfield, Goff, Wentz, and Watson all look less flawed than Dak.

Dak is a Tannehill / Carr in a more stable environment.

 

Dak is absolutely better than Carr, Tannehill, Dalton, Winston, Foles, Lamar, and Mitch. He's better than Goff too. Also, you could honestly make the argument that Big Ben could dip below Dak this year too.

 

Dak is better than Carr, Tannehill, Goff. Probably in same tier as Cousins more than being in same tier as Tannehill.

Goff is a system QB in the 2nd best system in football that still looks rusty often enough to doubt him.

 

And before you say it’s not stable, even though the OL had ONE rough year and Garrett isn’t smart in the playoffs... he still has a fairly cushy situation with a lot of continuity and much less turbulence than a lot of drafted QB have to deal with

 

And an offense that more so than most tailors itself to hide his flaws

 

How can you call Dallas a stable environment? I think it's safe to say that he has the worst coaching staff out of those other 6 players you named. Maybe better than 1 or 2 at absolute maximum. He also dealt with a subpar supporting offense for at least half a year, if not more, than most of those guys as well.

 

Goff, Wentz, Mahomes, and Trubisky were put into situations tailor made for them wtf are you talking about lol

 

I like how everyone has a slightly different take on this and all the takes are wrong in their own ways

 

When Tannehill and Carr had a decent supporting cast, they put up Dak’s numbers

When Cousins had a good OL, he put up better numbers than Dak

 

Imagine thinking playing half a season or more with an injured/out Tyron Smith, Connor Williams/Xavier Su'a-Filo, Joe Looney, an injured/out Zach Martin, and Collins, as well as a bottom five receiving corps all directed by a (now fired) horrifically bad offensive coordinator is stable.
