Deflating/inflating balls happens all the time. In the midst of all the deflategate shit, Rodgers flat out said that he prefers them deflated or inflated a bit and it just got ignored.

Also, the spygate thing also didn't make sense because I'm almost positive I read what they were doing wasn't technically illegal at the time, just frowned upon.

 

Sure, and if this were a conversation about breaking or skirting around league rules for advantages in a football game then there’d be something to talk about and a meaningful distinction. I don’t see that much meaning in adding “deflated footballs” to the same list as “solicited forced sexual acts from human prisoners” for why you don’t like a franchise.

It’s an issue of privileged owners prioritizing their pleasure/profit over the lives and safety of marginalized human beings, and in that regard, there really isn’t much meaningful distinction between the way most teams handle, say, players accused of sexual assault or domestic violence.

 

Spygate was a thing where the league was like "you can film but you can no longer film from this one area" and the Pats filmed from that one area, IIRC

 

I think it's easy to say that spygate and deflategate are bullshit if the Patriots didn't do it against your team.

 

Deflategate is especially bullshit because it didn't give the Patriots an advantage

It was found out because Brady threw a pick using the deflated footballs and at halftime it was found out and they used regular footballs and the Pats gashed the Colts on the ground, they performed better at regular psi

 

And @Dinosaurs Dish Rodgers said he prefers footballs to be overinflated, I remember that interview well

 

The Colts organization grasping at straws with all the deflategate stuff really made me dislike them even more than I did. Like, you got trounced and now you look like a sore loser.

Complaining about Deflategate was peak Ryan Grigson. As long as he’s not part of your team and especially if he’s part of a team you don’t like, you just gotta embrace how much of a train wreck he ended up being as a GM. You never know when you’re gonna get guys like Grigson and Oakland Raiders era Jon Gruden so you just have to take it in while you can

Also y’all sushi is fantastic you just gotta read what’s in it. Like, cream cheese is never gonna taste good with smoked salmon, that’s two extreme flavors. Also avoid any sushi with hot sauce cause it’s literally gonna be like buffalo sauce on raw fish, gross.

Just today I had a yellowtail roll, some nigiri tuna, and the chef roll had fried soft shell crab, tempura eel, cucumber, avocado, tobiko & tuna. Nice and refreshing, good mix of flavors, not too rich or aggressively savory.

 

Side note: the score for Netlfix's Maniac fucking kicks ass. Y'all should get on that. Hell, get on the show itself, too.
