Do the Jets have a decent Oline that can adjust to Bell's style?

I wonder if he has more receiving yards than rushing yards this year.

 

They finished pretty low on pff if I remember, darnold was rushed out of the pocket a good amount last season(he's also very good when he does this tho). It's part of why they definitely need to trade down for more picks, so many needs. Brett qvale.

The Jets are definitely one of my most anticipated teams to watch this year. Probably top five.

 

I feel like the jets trying to trade for a pass rusher is even more of a sign they might trade down, they'll at least have a backup plan then if they miss out on their top players

Bell is going to do something like 'tweek his hamstring' and be off and on all year.

 

I say Bell has 16 total TDs this year. Crowell, Canon and McGuire combined for 10 last year. If the O-line remains dookie, then I expect a lot of dumpoffs - Bell gets into space and scores. Plus if those 3 can pound in the rock on the goal line, Bell will pound a few in too.

 

I'm more excited to see Darnold in year two.

I still love Bell and wish him the best, but it’s hard for me to imagine he doesn’t get hurt at some point and/or start poorly. I’m guessing he ends up with around 1300 receiving/rushing yards and 10 td’s

 

I agree 100% with all of this. And if you want to talk Fantasy, that's a perfect second rounder to pair with another RB or high end WR from the first round.

But I have a feeling his name alone will entice people to draft him in the first.

He isn’t terribly expensive for a Pro Bowl talent who is also an emotional team leader.

I think the report of trading him is bogus. I’m sure teams are inquiring and I’m sure we’re saying “fuck you” because they aren’t offering at least a 2nd round pick

We discussed this with Landon Collins when he signed that massive deal. The Giants were 1-7 at the trade deadline last year, and clearly dont value a S at the price he signed for...not trading him then for a decent haul was a huge mistake.

That said, the NFLPA just needs to push to get rid of the franchise tag already.

 

Bell is very good but is not a breakaway kind of guy.

 

Trading Telvin at this time makes no sense either, the signing of Nick Foles (lol) signals you're not in a rebuild period whereas trading one of your best defensive players on a manageable contract does
