Burns was bad and edmunds was a reach but Lonnie Johnson, who i like, is not a top corner haha. Not even close

 

If you can keep your secondary sucking forever, you just gotta do it

 

Lonnie Johnson as a "WTF Steelers?" pick would be par for the course based on their recent history

 

They do like guys who play way off the los

 

Seems like the kind of pick we'd have made 3-4 years ago when we LOVED tall CBs

 

Gotta replicate the Legion of Boom

 

The sad thing is the Steelers don't even need a great secondary - they just need an average one. But when you have no one opposite Joe Haden that can play the position, you are in trouble.

Edmunds ended up being decent down the stretch last year. A year 2 leap will make the pick look better in hindsight. But they could have had Justin Reid.

 

Pretty crazy that the draft is already this week.

Yeah, thank the lord the drafts this week.

It's fun and all but after like 2 months of mock drafts and speculation...lets go!

 

This week is pure torture. I can't believe the NFL Draft, Avengers Endgame and the big battle in Game of Thrones are all on the same weekend. This is me until 8 PM on Thursday:

I just muscled through season 4 of Community because I stopped watching after S3 when it was airing and holy shit what a chore

 

Does anyone watch the entirety of the draft telecast? I usually watch the first round, and then just follow along online while doing other stuff rounds 2-7. I can only handle so much Mel Kiper.

There certainly won't be any turning back. Or left. Or right.

 

I usually watch day 1 and day 2, and have day 3 on in the background while I do other stuff

 

My buddy is begging me to watch but I also quit some time during or after season 3, I can't remember exactly now since it's been so long. Are you going to keep watching?

 

I'm going to just to see how/if it all wraps up, I like all the cast members sans Chevy so even if it ends up not necessarily being good I'm sure there'll be enough funny moments to still have fun

That's how season 4 was, the plot was just dreadful

 

I usually make a point to watch the first round, though I end up flipping back and forth between NBA playoffs usually. I watched more of it when it was only a Saturday/Sunday thing

 

Luckily, I have NFL Network to watch. ESPN is terrible. ABC is probably going even worse. I have no problem with Robin Roberts, but let's not try to have "sympathetic" stories about a QB who already had a MLB deal or a shit-minded DE whose brother is already in the league and will have tens of millions of dollars in the future.

I do love watching the entire draft though. As a guy who really watches Big Ten and MAC closely, it's cool to see some of my favorite players get drafted.

 

Yeah. I watched through the entire series when it was on, but it was harder at the end. Between Chevy starting all these problems and Glover leaving, things just kind of died. I've never gone back and watched any episodes.

 

I watch as much as I can really

NFLN is the only tolerable draft coverage though

 

I plan on watching round 1 with a friend at a sports bar and otherwise will just keep up on my phone
