I finally grew some balls and called my manager out on his bullshit. He literally was shocked.

Well payroll has been drastically cut, and I told him I and other workers are suffering from it. They don't want us working OT and they send us home early. I told him I don't think it's fair he gets his big bad bounes due to us suffering, I told him that we shouldn't have to have trouble paying rent or put food on the table. It also doesn't help how much I don't get because of how much my health insurance costs.

 

Hell fucking yeah, man. That's great, congrats.

I've just had the I don't give a fuck mentality. I tend to speak my mind and call people out if they are being an asshole lol.

 

He just told me he's sorry I felt that way, and that he'll see what he can do. In reality I know he won't do anything.

i'm fairly certain that if you put more than one question in an email it is illegal to answer the second question. i can count the number of times someone has forgotten to answer the second question of a two question email. the answer is every time.

 

Late but tea is the goat hot beverage and if you need to put anything in it you are weak

Old lady orders tea? Expect an awful tip. Either too old fashioned or too ornery to get with the times and tip 20%. Old men too but they don’t order tea haha

If I'm drunk enough at the bar, I'll tip >50%, haha

 

I only get it at tea places or occasionally at Starbucks (they bought teavana, sadly)

 

The best tippers are definitely 1) big drinkers 2) young professionals trying to impress either a colleague or a date

 

There are also people who try really hard to impress their date or friends, spend way above their budget without even thinking twice, and then tell you verbally you did an “amazing job with the service” to hush their conscience about not having enough left to tip decently

If one person says “I got the check” and the other person says “no, split it” I always split it. Most the time, you are gonna get less tip if you let that one person pay. They usually can’t financially justify being generous to both their friend and the service

 

Oh fuck that shit. I never tip below 20 percent.
