Idk man I don't get it either. I went from being a huge Brown fan to not giving a fuck if he gets locked up.

I don't recall the exact game, but what was the game that the Bengals player absolutely speared Brown in the side of the head that lead to the Steelers winning the game that they probably would have lost without that horrible hit?

I saw a theory online before this season began that people think that hit might have literally knocked him out of his mind. Is there any weight to this or is that a stupid theory?

That was a devastatingly gross play but yeah probably not worth our while to say that one play made him insane

I'd be interested in seeing a timeline of Brown's erratic behavior with that hit designated.

 

Idk, if you listen to Ryan Clark this was probably a long time coming and the team just kept it bottled up for years

Also, does Brown not realize that he's not a free agent? "Tell them to call me" implies that he thinks it's up to him where he gets traded.

 

i meant the last like, two weeks with his comments on IG, Twitter and about Ben. should have been more clear.

 

his IG comments make it sound like he wants out of some terrible situation where he can't trust anybody. which, if that's the case, i "get" why he's saying for teams to call him because he clearly assumes the team isn't going to have his best interest in mind (sidenote: 99% of the time no team gives a shit when trading / releasing a player) but in a way, he does have some leverage. whoever trades for him will probably want to make sure he shows up and plays and if he says, "nope. i want $25M a year and be in XYZ climate" then that's going to severely restrict who goes after him.

it certainly hurts him to do that because he's seriously cherry picking ("i want out of Pittsburgh! and i want lots of money! but i'm not playing THERE!")
