Going back to this, my 12 million could get me the entire Saints RB/FB group with like 6 million to spare. There are only 6 teams paying the entire group over 12 million, and you wanna give that all to one player? Naaaaaaah

 

You wanna talk about good runningbacks being a dime a dozen? You can just as easily draft a WR2. It makes no sense to pay more for a secondary option at a less important position haha.

Is a WR1 more expensive than a RB1, obviously, but get out of here if you think, like, Allen Robinson is better to have than Ezekiel Elliott especially if they cost the same

 

You're literally never going to convince me paying an RB big money on a second contract is a good idea. If you told me you wish Rookie contracts didn't exist and you could pay Zeke 12 million right off the bat I'd be waaaay more inclined to do that. But I'm not paying a 26-28-year-old running back over 10 million dollars.

 

I’d take semi injured Todd Gurley over most WR2s because even a healthy WR2 is unlikely to 1) get 850 yards and 12 TD 2) dictate the way the opposing team defends your team, like Gurley still does.

The way WR get paid is so disproportionate to me. Especially since they get hurt all the damn time too, lower body injuries and contact injuries from going over the middle happen to that position a LOT as well. Fuckin AJ Green hasn’t been himself in years due to turf toe. Like why does the injury risk argument ONLY apply to RBs haha

 

(I also wouldn't pay a lot of money to my WR group if you recall, i rank them reeeeeeally low on my priority too. Right above RB)
