I once ate at an IHOP on free Pancake day and there as GLASS IN MY PANCAKE. I told the manager who gave me a 10% off my NEXT meal coupon.

    Fuck IHOP.

For sure I've been to SXSW quite a few times, I imagine it's MUCH more annoying while living here but I've seen the impact it has as a whole and I'm fully prepared to stay in until it ends (unless Laura wants to go to an independent showcase or 2)

Fun story: When I played SXSW there was a friend I was supposed to stay with in like south Austin I think, and he never showed back up at home to let me and my friend in because he was out partying still at like 3am, and we ended up falling asleep in a Walmart parking lot in my Hyundai Sonata.

The next day he promised he'd be back to let us in and give us a key, but instead he decided to call it and go back home to Dallas and we didn't know the owner of the house so we couldn't crash there anymore. So we decided that we'd try to find a hotel.

Closest one with any vacancies was in Temple TX so we drove to Temple to sleep and drove back to Austin the next morning.

    I’m staying in this time.

Food question, have you been to Juan in a Million?

Some guy is trying to tell me it’s better than Veracruz and I have serious doubts about his life choices.

Lol yeah it's right on the border. Walk across the street and you're in Cheltenham

Despite that, well worth the drive. Best wings I've ever had

I never think about food places like that tbh

I like to think about food and watch stuff about it but I don't ever think "wow, I really need to go to this restaurant again soon because it's so good"

@Night Channels you should hang with me and @Fucking Dustin (and probably @CarpetElf) when I come to Austin this fall.

Then you can roast my draft takes in person hahaha.

I most likely will line it up around the same time as Jags @ Texans so Dustin and I could drive to Houston for the game. Or maybe id fly into Houston, go to the game, then come to Austin, something like that.

  24. Today is day three of being home taking care of a sick toddler. Very exhausting.

I am down to meet up on a Saturday.

I’m going to LSU/Rice to visit one of my former players but that’s the only Saturday in the fall with plans.
