Yeah Applebee’s is ass

 

Mad Mex is my favorite Mexican joint

I think its a chain but there are only a few around PA

 

It's kinda impressive that Applebee's is still alive

 

Geez I've eaten at so many places I don't think I could do a list like that

 

He knows Applebees is ass haha. He listed IHOP too

 

I've edited my list like 5 times

 

Breakfast: Deluca's, Pittsburgh PA
Lunch: Loco Pez, Philadelphia PA
Dinner: Lonesome Dove, Fort Worth TX

Just off the top of my head. Probably not very accurate if I thought about it.

 

Loco Pez is good shit

I also like Dos Segundo's in Fishtown

 

Breakfast: the experience of Beach Diner; Jacksonville, FL
Lunch: Midtown Caboose; Tallahassee, FL
Dinner: Clark's Fish Camp; Jacksonville, FL

RIP GB Fish & Chips

 

For whatever reasons, I’m just not a foodie whatsoever. I could eat the same meal every single day and it not be a big deal to me.

So far in Atlanta:

Breakfast: Home Grown Diner (they have unique options for breakfast and they’re all amazing)
Lunch: Superica (high quality mesquite-grilled Tex Mex - where I work)
Dinner: Serpas (New Orleans style seafood grill)

 

whats the difference between applebees and chilis

 

Superica and Serpas are a 5 minute walk from me too. Home Grown is like 7 minutes on a bike.

Granted I’ve mostly only tried cheap stuff so I was only picking between a few nice restaurants Ive been to so far

 

Chili’s is a poor man’s Tex Mex, Applebee’s is a poor man’s basic bar & grill.

Difference is Chili’s is actually kinda good. Because they stay in their lane.

Applebee’s meanwhile tries to do creative stuff and fails miserably at all of it

 

I'll miss Boston market, just for nostalgia reasons

 

@Fucking Dustin we gon eat GOOD for this Atlanta trip...

But I ask one small favor in return. Come up with your 3 favorite taco spots in Austin and take me to all of them when I visit you there later this year.

Chili's is way better than Applebee's

 

Pretty spot on. Chili's has a few dishes that are pretty good. It hast the worst shelf life though, has to be eaten right at the restaurant cause getting it to-go is ass
