Working mainly on salary cap matters, he quickly realized it didn't suit him. So, he enrolled at Erskine and Liberty Theological Seminaries.

The Texans Executive Vice President of Football Operations is a guy who got a job with the Jaguars working on salary cap, realized he didnt like it, and went to Seminary school instead.

Which, dont get me wrong, might secretly be a brilliant way to go, because "Football Guys" get you a dick weed like Greg Schiano, but, the guy who's big contribution to the Pats was taking over the team prayer maybe isnt #1 on my list to build around generational talent on offense.

I love watching football more than anything so it doesn't change my life that much that the Texans are being this stupid, if anything it's freeing of the contradicting expectations and hope I'm used to

 

Jesus christ is coming to Houston and that's more than any first round pick could give a team

On the bright side, maybe after this season BOB the GM can fire BOB the coach.

Cause GM side of things, he got two starting O-lineman via the draft, and another via trade and really did a lot to solidify the offense. Of course, on the defensive side of the ball (with that 3rd rounder being Conley)

I just don't love other teams like that and if I watch outside of the Texans I'm just watching impartially and enjoying how great certain players/teams are etc etc and not attaching to them

Wish I could quit the lions and just bandwagon another team but I just can’t

 

I quit on the Cowboys and it was easy as hell

I couldn't quit on the guys on the Texans I've just become too attached, I can only mute the feelings

 

I’m trying to get better about trying to numb myself at least but then stories come out like this about our second best player in franchise history and it just makes me so damn mad. Seeing all these other teams just win ONE playoff game, when we can’t even get close. It’s just infuriating. It shouldn’t be this hard.
