I said this before, but I'll say it again; I'm not even a Texans fan but this bothers me so much.

Like, your team is probably going to make Watson the highest paid QB in the league this offseason and you just promoted the guy who traded valuable 2020 draft picks away for players who may or may not be re-signed and now you have little to no ammo to get younger as a team.

I'm right there with you. Winning or losing one-score games is not a sticky stat that translates year over year. I'm more likely to set that data and those feelings aside for great QBs/coaches and I think Watson can be one of the best QBs in the league (if he isn't already), but it's still not a great feeling to hang your hat on. Most of Seattle's wins this season were one-score games. A lot of that has to do with Russell Wilson. That's a lot of pressure to put on your QB and I'm afraid Watson is going to be in the same boat.
