Honest question, since there's a debate about whether Eli is a hall of famer, what makes Rivers one?

 

Rivers was really good for most his career but I can’t fathom there being a convincing argument that he could get in.

 

I don't think he is. He never made a SB and his teams seemingly underachieved a lot.

 

Eli shouldn't be. Rivers shouldn't be. They should be remembered as staples of their era but not as staples of their sport. Obvious Ring of Honor players but I wouldn't put them in the hall.

These contractors aren't fancy pants designers. They give me a price, I say yes or no, and I'm the one picking out the tile and finished and placement of things.

I work with an architect and he did a sketch for the most efficient layouts based on the room sizes.

Yep, this 1000%. Ben truthfully is the same...none were as transcendent as Brees/Brady/Peyton/Rodgers...and I dont think you can put in like 10 QBs from the same narrow era.

Compare Peyton/Brady/Brees (all 70k+ yards, 500+ TD, 64-65% pass completion) to Eli/Ben/Rivers (all upper 50k yards, 350-400TD, Eli down at 60% completions) and its pretty laughable the gulf between them. And Peyton had a weak finish to his career compared to Rivers/Ben so far.

I don’t agree Peyton had a weak finish to his career. Didn’t he retire after that one bad year he had? And the year before that is the year he set single season records that are still held today.

 

I put Ben’s talent over both Eli and Rivers as well. But who cares anyway I don’t support Ben or Manning
