I'm on the side of not empowering words but also not being a homophobic, racist, xenophobic, piece of trash.

 

Eh a lot of us said homophobic things growing up let’s just be happy where we’re at now. I never even had a problem with LGBT people as a kid, and I still said “gay” and the f word as insults / negative descriptive terms just cause all the other kids around me also did.

School culture in north Florida wasn’t any more progressive, I can assure you that.
