Is that really the case? Like, Washington aside, where major issues of roster quality, GMs, and shitty management hurt him a lot...were his Bengals teams that great? Dalton's best years were after Gruden left (and his INT and completion percentage skyrocketed by comparison), the 2014 Bengals average way more YPC than any of the Gruden teams.

Like, usual caveats about the 5th year jump (which is literally when Dalton's was), but, Dalton jumped like 4% completions and like a half yard/attempt just between 2013 and 2014.

 

This guy had the scoop last night (although he tweeted it cryptically) that the Jags were leaning towards Gruden

he has been pretty reliable over this past season with Jags info

 

Hue Jackson got the most out Dalton & that offense, which is weird to say now but he was a very good coordinator back then. Although, some of that was Zeitler coming into his own and making it easy for Gio/Hill to get 5-7 yards on first down. They also had Eifert healthy for 12 games and he caught 13 TDs. Basically everything went right until Dalton broke his thumb against Pittsburgh. With Gruden their run game was just BenJarvis Green-Ellis running into the center six times until they tried a shot play with AJ Green.

 

I know the Pro Bowl is BS.. But it still really pisses me off that a guy with 72 receptions, 1202yds and 9TDs in 14.5 games isn't on the AFC roster and wasn't even one of the alternates announced.

 

I saw someone say on Twitter that Parker told the NFL he did not want to go...no idea if its true or not

Its also hilarious that Jack Doyle got in over Gesicki

like you said, who cares about the actual game itself but it does mean something to these guys to get named

 

I’d take 2019 Doyle 10 times out of 10 over 2019 Gesicki for what Doyle offers in the blocking game

 

There is zero blocking in the Pro Bowl. That said, I can understand this.

Once I typed a message to a coworker in a work chat about a client that was annoying me and I wasn't sure whether to send it so I copied it to my clipboard and I was in a remote session with that client in another window and they pasted into a field which pasted the message I copied into the field

 

I've also had clients think I have them on hold when I have them on mute and then talk shit about me

 

Lol that one is always fun.
