It's tough to imagine the Cardinals taking a big jump too considering the division they're in, but I don't expect the Niners and the Seahawks to win 13 and 11 games again, respectively, so there should be room for the Cardinals to get to maybe 7-9

 

In a perfect world that entire division goes 7-7-2 and the tiebreaker comes down to a coinflip that Seattle and San Francisco lose.

Not saying it'd be a good allocation of resources, but if the Titans let Henry walk, cut Lewis, re-sign Conklin, and traded with the Jets for Bell, I wouldn't hate watching Bell play behind that offensive line

I do see the logic behind RBBC, i just think its less and less convincing the more talented and reliable your lead back is. Its a great way to get the most out of average talent, but if your back is *that good* in all 3 phases of the game, he should be extended because its not easy to replace a certain level of skill.

An average RB is a dime a dozen, but one who can take a lot of pressure off the rest of your offense is valuable. Especially if they block well and catch well out of the backfield IN ADDITION to forcing defenses to focus on them as a rushing threat. Some backs almost single handedly make average QB look like good QB because of how much pressure and attention they take off the QB... and this gets taken for granted so much. It’s not even just about your RBs production, it’s about how much better your whole offense does when the opposing team is worried about your RB.
