Give me 4 more games of Minshew and Chark had the better season *painting nails emoji*

Haha; I’m still comfortable saying Chark is clearly the one with more potential.

Much better athlete and he has flashed Parker’s level of ball skills at times whenever the QB has placed the ball anywhere near his 6’4” catch radius. He may not be as *strong* in traffic but he can do the acrobatic, diagonal leaping, toe tapping stuff for sure.

 

Oh yes I take Chark over Parker every time.

I mean yeah if Detroit comes back and says that the price is three firsts and two seconds to move up, then they aren't trading the pick to anyone which would be my preferred preference because then Tua would be sitting there at 5 overall


Also Parker had a clearly better season than Chark and its not particularly close IMO

 

Parker may have had a better season than Chark, but it’s worth remembering that Chark was playing through an ankle injury towards the end of the season that was one cause that led him to a quiet finish

It's not RAC though I'll take it but I want him outta the building entirely. No advisory role bullshit I want our players to actually learn good tackling

 

Saw this on the Cowboys subreddit, lol:

And apparently Mahomes was (or still is? idk how that works once you get drafted elsewhere) a huge Cowboys fan, so that makes it easier to cheer for him in the Super Bowl. There’s a ton of his tweets praising Romo for years and even Dak up through the 2016 season.

 

I'm sure it works differently for everyone, I know Cam is still a Falcons fan even though they're div rivals now

 

One of Weavers influences is Rex Ryan, so hopefully we get a more exotic defense, less vanilla looks, and DBs not playing 15 yards off every receiver

 

I’d take a bullet for this man LOL

 

But it'd be harder to find a team full of football players that WEREN'T Cowboys fans growing up to be fair

 

This drives me fucking insane

Our corners are so good when they're not playing off every goddamn play and we have tons of evidence supporting that yet we never change

 

I never see any other team give the same cushion to receivers, makes no sense

I’m hoping Weaver brings in some quicker edge players, we have all these beefy guys up front which is good against running teams but passing teams can destroy us on the edge

 

None of this will ultimately matter

 

Patriots also did their homework in general though while having Brady and took lots of shots at QBs while Brady was starting, and hit on at least 1 (2 if you consider Brissett a success which I don't think is far fetched). Not to mention had at least a few serviceable backups which is a lot more than the Packers can say outside of that magical Matt Flynn game. Idk I don't think the difference in QB evaluation is as vast as it appears
