And its ultimately th coaches job to say "hey, we've go player X who is a fucking monster, but he doesnt fit our system perfectly, we should adapt our system". Basically the Aaron Donald principle; where a lot of 3-4 teams werent sure where he'd fit, and the correct answer was "in whatever scheme you create because he's good enough to change your whole scheme for".

Its funny, the one time the Jets never miss is when they take D-line in the draft

 

This is what I meant, D-line. It felt like there was a 3-4 year period that led up to Leonard Williams that was like "well, the thing the Jets need least is D-line, but 5th overall, they take....D-line!"

 

Yea, they've just went with bpa regalrdess of need because well... they're the jets. Richardson, Williams and then Williams again in like a 5 year span. Not convinced they would've done better if they went off the board tho.

The Giants couldn't score more than 17 points a game last year and they're gonna keep the same oc instead of bringing in someone respectable. Just beautiful stuff.

 

Rhule seems to know his limitations because he hired the guy that actually orchestrated the defense and the guy who just coached a player to the greatest season in CFB history.

If his job is to literally just be a leader and make smart football decisions, its a slam dunk. And I'm very anti Rhule.
