-Invested a 3rd in Duke Johnson
-Traded for Carlos Hyde

@CarpetElf I think it’s hilarious you presume red decks are ideal for me in Magic. Because in terms of Madden you are the red deck and I am a much more defensive, strategic / counter oriented player

Also, passing from different variations of I form / big singleback formations is a great strategy if you can pull it off. Its a useless strategy if you don’t have a good line / can’t connect with your tight ends, but if you have the personnel to do it successfully, you genuinely can’t commit to stopping the run most the time, no matter how many blockers I have on the field.

I enjoy that style of play as a response to an NFL that is always using sub packages on passing downs

I am 6-1 in Madden superbowls against Matt this past 6 months

I don’t always play that way it’s just something I do a lot more than most madden players

I also think a benefit of it is, when I do come out with a finesse play / package, you aren’t accustomed to defending it.

 

FWIW I'm not entirely mad that he didn't call a play on 4th and 1 and kicked a FG instead, and I'm not entirely mad that he faked a punt on 4th and 3 with a terrible fake although there's a little bit of anger there. Both those things in a vacuum are whatever

I'm mad he did both, and also came up with such a bullshit excuse for the former

 

I don't even bother playing defense because fuck it lemme drop 100 on some dumb computer.

 

I’m not even a Texans fan and I’m angry about all of it. It’s BOB though so I should have fucking known better

 

I’m only online to get mad about stuff so I can’t block anybody

 

I can say from experience it is just as satisfying if not more so to drop 3+ user lurk interceptions and 3+ Hit stick fumbles on the AI in a game haha

 

What makes me the most mad is that I know at the start of next season I'll probably be like "Well maybe!" and I don't fucking want to anymore

 

At least when the Longhorns disappoint me I know when it's coming and can still be annoying about it
