I wouldn't, put Carr in a better situation I think he succeeds.

 

Steve Young is probably my favorite football player of all-time, but I have a deep hatred for lefty QBs.

 

I’d take 2019 Mariota over 2019 Carr, but I’d take Carr if I got him in a situation where he wasn’t about to get further ruined and run out of town by Gruden

 

I'd definitely take Mariota over:

Flacco
Bortles
Fitzpatrick
Winston
Manning
Taylor

I'm on the fence between Mariota and:

Keenum
Tannehill
Carr
Bradford

 

Bortles, Fitzpatrick, and Taylor definitely won't start this year. Flacco, Manning, and Winston might and that's my list.

 

Just looking at the list only Flacco and Trubs are the only 2 presumed to start every game for their respective teams this year. Not counting Winston cause who knows lol

I guess Manning too but I don't think he starts the whole year

I agree with this as it pertains to Tua because he looks like a legit prospect

But when people used that argument about like AJ McCarron I think that's fair haha

 

That’s fair, I actually don’t trust any QB’s come to think of it

 

Everything is flipped. It’s annoying to watch.

It’s especially annoying to coach.

 

It's scheme, not school. I'll never trust a Wazzu PLAYER so long as Leach is there.

But also, Sam Bradford and Landry Jones.

 

Winston is one of the most polarizing QB's in the league cause he'll look absolutely awful for weeks then go on like a 2-3 game tear then suck ass again

Is Mariota really in a good situation though? Granted he’s never had as bad a team as the raiders have now, but he’s never had a legit weapon. At least Carr had Cooper for a minute

 

He did it at Florida State too!

 

Mariota is just consistently mediocre. Consistency's got to count for something eh?

 

He has Derrick Henry who turned on the jets and became amazing out of nowhere, and he's had a great offensive line. So if we give Dak the "Zeke+OL" argument it's fair to give it to Mariota too.

 

I hate Derrick Henry.
