I do, and you know I do, but I'm going based off what I see.

Wentz also doesn’t have Djax who is supposed to stretch the field, he has Jeffrey, and agholor who is inconsistent.

And a lot is probably because I'm super salty with how this season is going, like I don't see how they turn it around.

That an Eagles fan has the audacity to say Wentz is just a “middle of the road QB” while there’s a Bengals fan in here that’s had to watch Andy fucking Dalton for most of the decade is really something to behold

They probably aren’t going to turn it around. They’re probably going to miss the playoffs and hopefully make important changes to their system, such as firing Schwartz and Groh. Wentz is far from their greatest problem right now though. I’m fact, he’s one of the only things that’s gone right for us so far this season

I don't listen to it but I'm sure this is all Philly sports talk radio is talking about

Normal Chicago winter gear with a little reinforcement. Long johns, pants, and snowpants. They also let you bring in those chemical hand warmer packs to stick inside your gloves and boots so we had about 100 of them. It was a pretty exciting game so we were jumping up out of our seats a lot. But yeah, it was insanely cold.

See, I don't think Schwartz should be fired, he has slop to work with.

Eagles gotta play against the Bills and Bears defenses, very likely without DJax, before their bye, then they have to play against the Patriots and Seahawks. You’re gonna know in that stretch if they’re gonna turn it around.

Well still he’s been dealing with the same turf toe injury for like two years now. They just confirmed he’s gonna continue to sit out after the trade deadline, and that he’ll be “re-evaluated” on Oct 29

That injury doesn’t really go away, all doctors can do is manage it. The reason he’s still out is cause he still hasn’t responded well to the surgery which is not a good sign. Even when he was playing last, he wasn’t getting open like he used to.

And in all seriousness the Eagles offense shouldn't have this much of a drop off without DJax.

I don’t think he gives our corners help. I don’t like how often he stacks the box. I don’t care how good of a defense we are against the run. It’s a passing league and we can’t cover receivers. I’d love to see him deploy Jenkins in the secondary more to help our corners, but he loves to deploy him in the box against the run. It’s a problem.

He’s nursing an ankle injury right now, not the turf toe injury. But I agree, turf toe injuries linger and are problematic. He had one back in 2014 too, I believe. Same foot/toe.

Again it all comes down to what he's working with, he seemed to be doing pretty damn good two years ago.

I agree wholeheartedly and that’s a systemic problem. Our offense had similar struggles last season without Mike Wallace (although he did next to nothing for us in the short time he was here). Why the front offense and coaching staff felt comfortable with a 32 year old WR with an extensive injury history be such a focal point to the offense with no proven deep threat behind him is a big problem. They probably saw Agholor as the guy who could step up in that case, which, if so, was a horrible judgment to make because Agholor has sucked for much of his career

Our corners weren’t good two years ago either, but it’s a huge difference between then and now when our offense took commanding leads, which led to opposing teams playing from behind and more turnover opportunities for our corners. Now that our offense isn’t playing well, our defense has been exposed. Our corners weren’t good last year either, but the young guys showed some promise. Unfortunately, they haven’t been able to capitalize on that. Part of the blame does have to fall onto the corners, but part of it has to fall on coaching too for not being able to adequately develop them. You’d think with backups playing for much of this season that Schwartz would give them more help, but he doesn’t. He leaves Jones, Douglas, and Maddox to try to survive on islands and they can’t. They aren’t good enough and he’s too stubborn to help them

I think it’s really simple, you’re not getting nearly the same disruptive pressure as you had been getting before, so corners’ margin for error is a lot smaller and their coverage has to be sustained longer

Stacking the box in passing situations only works if you’re getting in the backfield fast. It’s literally just gonna be bad coverage if the opponent’s line properly picks up the blitz

That’s not an excuse for not giving corners help. Can’t just chalk it all up to “not getting the same pressure” and call it a day. He doesn’t make adjustments. It took Malcolm Jenkins to say something to him late last year because they almost lost against the Giants for him to finally do something about it

Im not making an excuse haha I’m just explaining why I think Schwartz’s usual scheme isn’t working out right now. Yes, he does need to make major adjustments

I’m gonna drop Ross from this cause he hasn’t done shit.

Fournette is at least equal to Mixon

Green and Boyd > Chark and Westbrook on paper but a hurt Green may not be that good after missing more than a year. Chark is ascending while Green looks less and less certain to return to form. If Green is on his way out then Chark is better than anything Cincy has.

But now let’s be real - Foles > Dalton and Minshew so far has outplayed Dalton as well. We also have a better line all of a sudden, now that they’re healthy and we’ve added Jawaan Taylor. It’s not just about weapons.

Yeah I think Jags weapons > Bengals weapons and Jags line >>>>> Bengals line

But honestly if the war you're trying to win is "do we have more than the Bengals" idk what you're doing
