By not inviting me to concerts where strangers will feel it’s ok to ask to sit on my shoulders so they can see.

I was never a big fan of concerts but nothing ruins something quicker than strangers begging to sit on your shoulders so they can see. Even when you stand in the way back so you’re not blocking people’s view.

Might just be easier to make everyone else 6’ 6” too though tbh

Dak currently has the most yards of anyone in the league. Kitna and Moore have done wonders with his play style and has allowed him to play how I’ve always known he could. The fact that he’s throwing/running this many yards but still ending up being one of the most efficient quarterbacks in the league is amazing. He’s really turning into something special.

    The rivalry is back on

Alright hear me out... 3 way trade:

Cowboys receive: Foles + 3 picks from the Jags
    Bengals receive: Dak
Jaguars receive: Bengals 2020 1st to pick Joe Burrow

Trying to point out the picks aren’t a sure thing is a moot point. QBs aren’t a sure thing either. At least if you have 5 first round picks and you bust on one you still have 4 other opportunities.

I’m saying if your roster is terrible there’s a lower chance of the QB you pick actually panning out and coming through on that value. Even if you pick a capable guy who isn’t a “bust”, QBs have a better chance of success with a decent supporting cast.

So I do think if a half-complete team unloads picks to a very weak team for a QB it’s in the benefit of both sides. The weak team at the least needs a line and an average defense to be ready for a QB and not throw him into the flames. Meanwhile, if a half-complete team adds a QB and that QB pans out, suddenly they are a playoff contender.

It’s good for the QB too. We all know no QB wants to go get killed on a dysfunctional team. Not that he has a say in it, but idk I just find it irresponsible for teams to go get a QB if they have almost nothing else to support their growth. Plenty of teams do it anyway - and plenty of teams turn out like the Jets and Sam Darnold.

And again just cause we traded them for Burrow does mot mean they missed their chance at a QB. Even if Foles wasn’t a very good stopgap (he is), they could still take Fromm, Eason, or someone next year and still have 4 other first round picks to devote to other studs (or trades if necessary) to build around them.

We already have a line and two quality weapons on offense (Chark & Fournette) so this isn’t as true for us, but for a depleted team like Cincy? Picking a different QB but having 4 extra chances to add a quality player to his supporting cast might be the better formula.

All in all though I’m speculating because the Jags have never had a good QB, and I’m willing to hurt some feelings, and make some unorthodox moves to get my favorite QB of the last 3 draft classes (meaning 2018-2020, obv Mahomes / Watson are better.)

I’ll defend Nick Foles and ship him to Chicago in the same breath. If we can do even better let’s fucking go. This is a business, he’ll understand.

If not? Whatever we still have two solid options at QB and 4 first round picks the next two years lol, but I don’t see why we wouldn’t at least try. 1) We never have this much ammo to move up in the draft. It’s a rare thing to even have enough draft capital to match that value. 2) if we’re gonna trade Jalen fucking Ramsey, who was very very high on my list of players I’d want on my team... Then imma try to get the one thing I want more than Ramsey with those picks lol

I think it's funny that the Bears front office thought Trubisky was good.

Bills still think Josh Allen is good lol

Jags thought Bortles was good for nearly 5 years though so I mean.... lol. But we also did that thing I’m talking about where we had no line and no defense and went for a QB anyway. That definitely ruined any chance of Bortles developing properly.

Can’t learn fundamentals and patience / judgment if you’re constantly under pressure, and eventually those jitters become bad habits that are tough for QBs to break.

Not starting Daryl Williams when he gets healthy seems like it would help more than any o-line trade.

I'll continue to defend Josh Allen, he's better than Trubisky and Bottles.

He’s literally just a stronger faster Bortles with less understanding of touch throws

That 15-20 yard run into the end zone he does looks really hard to stop. Dude is 6’7” and shockingly smooth when he’s in a full sprint. His long ass legs will go 12 yards in like 5 steps and then he’ll dive way back from the, fucking, 6 yard line and land in the end zone.

It’s like how crazy Michael Jordan dunks almost looked like a traveling foul because of how much damn ground he could cover in two strides before jumping

It’s impressive you are able to make this argument while completely ignoring the “depleted” bengals have better offensive weapons than the Jags.
