Memories are nice, but that's all they are. Prestigious

Lions have proved time and time again they shouldn’t be paying the people in their FO

I'm waiting for one crazy and deranged NFL owner to do that one day. "You think you can run things better? FINE. Go ahead, citizens of Chorus dot fm."

Needless to say, @spiffa0 is our GM because he's the only one here that knows math. @Swoos is obviously head of the medical staff because he's the only one here that knows science. I'm obviously the head scout because I'm only ever right in theory. @EntryLevelDave is obviously the DC because I imagine he's tall and stocky like every DC should be. @Night Channels is the OC because well, duh. @Fucking Dustin is special teams coordinator because he's smart but also VERY tired. @Nathan is our PR guy. Head Coach? Gardner Fucking Minshew.

If your name isn't listed then you will be hired as an assistant coach or you are Randall.

Preppy can be Assistant Math. You were my choice for head coach but then I decided to go with someone with more money and marketability which made me instantly realize you're the perfect ST coach.

Their offensive line is also five giant clown punching bags that they keep spending first round picks on. I think they can work around the defense but that o-line is just a trash fire that they haven’t been able to fix since Whitworth and Zeitler left.

To be fair, I'm also continuously saying they need to sign Scherff and a tackle haha. If they ignore the OL then yeah, they're fucked. But they also aren't going to solve that in the mid-1st this year either. I like Jonah Williams and am not out on Billy Price yet.

Now here's a player I wouldn't be against the Eagles trading for if they plan on re-signing him long term

Robby Anderson would be great for the Eagles.

If it were almost any other team I would agree but they never spend in free agency unless it’s their first own guys and Cincinnati is probably the last place most players want to sign. That and they tried to address the o-line and it just made things worse.

I dont understand what team doesnt see a 26 year old WR as their future? It'd be far smarter to eat Enunwa's cap hit June 1 next year and use his salary space for Anderson.

I sort of get worrying that they'd have to overpay relative to his output, but they arent exactly gonna get a ton back for him.

Ya know, Cleveland used to be the last place most players wanted to sign too...until a hot young QB came to town, which is all the more reason the Bengals should hold onto whatever early pick they get and get their guy. At this point, they have be cruising for a top three pick.

I don't understand it either. I'm not sure why the team gave Enunwa that contract anyway because he's never been good. They also obviously can't rely on DT long term. I have a tough time imagining a world where they trade him and leave themselves with Crowder as their only legit long term option at the position.

That and the team ain't gonna be in Cincinnati anymore by the time they're relevant again. Unless they get super lucky in this next draft.

Cincy is uniquely dogshit as a franchise though. They and Arizona are the two that have the reputation for being comically cheap...though Arizona has apparently turned some of that around.

The biggest FA outside signing I can find for CIN going back to 2011 is Michael Johnson at 4yr/$20mil. Everything else is <$4mil AAV. So history suggests they wouldnt make any big splash signings anyway.
