As much as I love Minshew rn, if you think he and Nick Foles means we’re not watching tape on Tu’a and Burrow youre mistaken. I could see us overcompensating because 1) Bortles was so bad 2) we still have some people to sign to some contracts.

If the Jags are gonna trade Foles, they should do it before FA/the draft, but my guess is no team makes a trade for Foles until after the draft.

I don’t see most of them deciding to trade for Foles either, but I could see any one of them making that move once the other dominoes fall with those teams. Joe Flacco and Alex Smith have had takers in the trade market who plugged them in as starters, so I don’t see why not Foles if they were to cut ties and go with Minshew long term

(and to clarify, I mean this hypothetical team would strike early in that moratorium period once they realize they’re not getting the QB in the draft they want)

 

Bucs could be a sneaky team that could go after Foles if they move on from Winston (they should). Did Arians come out of retirement to draft and develop a young QB? No one knows obviously, but they’re a team that could be interested in a veteran QB as they try to plug up some holes elsewhere on their team.

 

49ers gave up a lot for a 32 year old receiver, at least Manny is still good tho

Correction: cut ties with both foles and minshew and then trade three 1st round picks to move up with a team desperate for a QB that will somehow decide they no longer need one
