In the last three weeks, Mack Hollins has taken 115 offensive snaps and hasn’t seen a target. In his last 139 snaps played, he has just one catch for 13 yards.

How is JJAW not playing ahead of this guy? It’s mind boggling.

I think Bears were 3-3 at this point last year but this feels so much different. Trubisky somehow regressed. Roquan Smith, Eddie Jackson regressed. Floyd isn’t any better than last year. Offensive line is trash. They can’t run the ball. Special teams is a massive liability. They are definitely the worst team in the North right now.

The question is how good could Allen Robinson be with an actual QB? He’s so good

 

I think the point being Bill has done a pretty damn good job lately finding QBs who are capable of starting. Jimmy G and Jacoby being the latest examples. Hoyer started for a bit, Cassell started for a bit. Obviously they're not great, but still.

 

I don’t think Jarrett Stidham is a particularly good QB.

I do think Stidham will be an adequate QB option after 1-2 years of learning in the Belichick system

I know it’s early for Zac Taylor but I’m glad Marvin Lewis is getting a little less shit now. He deserved to be fired but it’s not easy making the bengals look competent

 

i'm already bored at work so i looked into this.

Bears were 3-3 (were 3-1 and then lost 2 in a row after the bye), however they lost those 3 games by a total of 11 points (and one was in overtime), and Mitch and Co. looked really good against the Patriots in that third loss (by 7). so yes, i imagine the tone and feel of last year's 3-3 vs this year's 3-3 is very different.

also have to factor in expectations. going 12-4 (2018) and starting 3-3 (2019) is a big difference from 5-11 (2017) and starting 3-3 (2018) with a shiny new head coach (and basically) shiny new QB.

 

Pay the man $34-$35M AAV. That’s a fair price when considering rapid salary cap inflation is a thing.

Josh Lambo is 68/69 in his career on field goals under 40 yards and the one “miss” was blocked.

He has also made his last 38 straight kicks below 50 yards.

#2 most reliable kicker in the league behind Justin Tucker and the gap is not that wide. @ me if you want I don’t give a fuck

Good morning AFC south. Everyone talks shit about our division but it’s always competitive now in the post-PFM era. Any of these teams has a shot at the division title and playoffs still. And the Colts may have the Texans’ number, but the Texans have the Jags’ number and the Jags have the Colts’ number so there’s a balance.

2 of those teams have a shot at the division title and neither of them are cats.

 

The Colts and Texans are playing in a different league compared to the Jags and Titans

 

We’ll see. Despite our secondary playing like garbage we really haven’t been allowing passing TDs. CMC gashed us but since then our run D looks better. Our DL is stepping up with Josh Allen looking better every week. I believe in Minshew and Fournette on offense.
