Because I’m still sad about Jalen Ramsey so the person who talks the most in here doesn’t want to talk about football right now

Honestly I am definitely saying FUCK Tom Coughlin... but I am also saying all our other highly talented players deal with that asshole too and they don’t quit on the team mid season *shrug*.

The only difference is Ramsey still believes he is above reproach, even when he acts a fool. He is an amazing player who does everything right, and that can be dangerous because it means that he can use that impressive resume to deflect any genuine criticism of things he needs to improve. Like, “bitch I’m setting the standard for this team, and you’re gonna try to scold me?” His ego has grown at the same rate as his legacy. I feel like at a certain point it’s a risk that a player like that won’t want to listen to any coaches or VPs, not just douchebag Coughlin.

Coughlin should’ve had more tact when he addressed Ramsey after that tantrum and I say this admitting that Coughlin is too old and square to relate to young black celebrities. But at the same time it’s not like it was wrong to confront him when he got heated with a coach and challenged his authority. It’s the WAY Coughlin probably went about it.

Coughlin should have had more tact, strictly because Ramsey doesn’t take redirection very well / trusts himself too much to take criticism from his bosses. As a VP Coughlin has to know that and has to take more care to avoid escalating tensions, players are unruly sometimes, managing them and calming them down is a big part of the job. If he cant do that, he shouldve let Marrone handle the situation himself, and it probably wouldn’t have ended this way cause Ramsey actually likes Marrone.

I remember when he was drafted a video aired on NFLN of Jalen’s mother tearfully reminding him to “stay humble”. I mean you just knew coming out we had to be careful with him off the field because he’s very prideful. It’s Coughlin’s fault, and you guys are right about that.

But I can still wish Ramsey responded differently considering we have other players in the locker room who do put their teammates & team goals over themselves. No player HAS to do that, every man for himself, etc but as a fan of the team, I’m not wrong to be disappointed that he took a self-serving route. He’ll probably thrive in LA and I’ll probably be forever jealous, I can’t help it.

I'll swallow my pride if I'm wrong, but I'm gaurnteeing an Eagles win this week.

I think you will unless we have Collins and Smith back. Apparently Cooper might play but who knows? If they’re all back, I think it’s 50/50 actually.

I feel ‘meh’ about the whole game right now, it’s a bummer

Then again I’ll be on pins and needles the entire game regardless. Haha

  12. @Randall Mentzos go smoke some weed, play some guitar, beat Matt in Madden, and relax. Deprioritize football. Go out tonight and drink some milkshake IPAs for me since I'll be in bed by 9.

I think the Eagles/Cowboys game is going to be an ugly shitshow and I have no idea who is going to win

  14. Patriots could go undefeated. Maybe lose to the Texans.

Even if Cooper plays I don't see him being much of a factor, I can't see him being at full strength.

I can see the Patriots dropping a game after their bye when they have to play the Eagles, Cowboys, Texans, and Chiefs (depending on Mahomes’ recovery), but I would not at all be shocked if they go undefeated.

I think the way to beat them this year is for an opposing offense to somehow overcome their defense and beat them in a shootout because I don’t think the Pats have the offense to win in shootouts.

Then again, they have Tom Brady so maybe I should just shut the fuck up and cry.

How many of our corners will be at full strength though? I don’t think Cooper needs to be at full strength to beat any of our corners. All he needs is one solid double move and he’s gone for a 75+ yard touchdown.

Healthy or not, our receivers have to stop dropping so many passes. They’ve mostly been disappointing lately :/

Well in all honesty Cooper is dealing with a quad injury, he won't be at full speed.

If it wasn’t such a “must win” I would want Cooper to rest and not play til after the bye

SAME. I heard today that the Eagles have the most dropped passes in the NFL with 17 or 18 and that the Cowboys are right behind them with just one less dropped pass

But haven't you heard ? The offense needs to be more simple.

I can’t wait for Agholor to have another crucial drop so he can say he lost it in the lights again.

Also can’t wait to see how Alshon runs himself out of bounds this time.
