Wilson is so good that he elevated their entire team, imo. I could argue he’s the best QB in the league right now, I think.

Right, but at some point Cam Newton will come back and they'll be bad again.

 

Even with Cam Newton playing badly they were within 1 score in each of their losses with him at QB

If you're looking for teams that can perform well in all 3 phases of football Carolina is absolutely one of those teams

 

Overall I think we've seen more medicorty this than anything imo.

 

The NFL is also one of the most competitive leagues in sports so it's really weird to say "there's only 3 good teams out of 32"

Maybe only 3 consistently proven teams? Yeah I'd definitely agree with that, only NE/SF/NO have proven themselves to be among the BEST. But only 3 good teams altogether? That's just not how football works

 

To say the Packers and Vikings aren't good is silly.

Didn’t the Cardinals only win because the ref gave the Cardinals that bogus first down at the end of the game?

 

I think it's important to note that when I say good, i'm obviously being a dick. 29 teams aren't bad lol. But this year is definitely a down year in terms of really really good teams. A lot of teams that were supposed to be really good are actually kinda bad, and the better teams currently also have some pretty major flaws.

I didn't realize they only won by 1 point, score was MUCH more lopsided last I looked at it, I'll retract them from that conversation haha

Still don't think Washington should rise above them over being in a 1 pt game with Miami, if anything their places shouldn't move. I don't think Miami's better than Atlanta.

 

I agree with that, and I think I like it more as a football fan

 

When I think of a "good" team, I think of a team that consistently shows up and plays well each week. There aren't many of those teams this year. I'd argue there's probably less than ten.

 

Like, the Panthers are really good, but Kyle Allen is their QB so that's terrifying.
The Packers defense is really good, but that offense has looked shaky.
The Rams are way down.
The Chiefs are way down.
The Colts lost Luck
The Steelers lost Ben.

It's just a tough year for most teams.

 

Carolina’s defense is definitely good enough to win most games. Unfortunately we play in the same division as the Saints and won’t have any home playoff games.

 

Baltimore is good. Eat shit

 

Dallas looks great for three weeks, and then vanishes.
The Chargers can never seem to live up to the hype.
The Browns certainly aren't living up to it either.

 

I think Baltimore is the most fine team in the league right now

Like when I think about them I think "yeah they're fine" and that's about as far as it goes

I take any and all power rankings with a huge grain of salt because, after you make it past the top two or three teams, it's basically a crapshoot that changes dramatically every week.

 

Lamar rules the Ravens are fine Mike Leach can suck it

 

College football is 1 giant power ranking and LSU JUST got to #2 after playing like the #1 team all year so yeah power rankings suck

 

Lamar Rules. I've been there forever. I had the Ravens winning the division before Ben went down and the Browns blew. I just don't think they're a threat to win the Super Bowl.

 

I feel like my teams QB can win any game this season so I’m legit happy

 

If there wasn't a Pat Patriot sized monkey on Bill O'Brien's back I'd say the Texans CAN absolutely compete for a Super Bowl but I'd like to actually beat NE once before getting any hopes up
