Now I wouldn’t actually expect him to stay on a dysfunctional team for 10 more years. Players who actually do that like Calvin and Fitzgerald may have screwed themselves from ever winning the big game, so it’s understandable players want to move on and get extended by another team if their first team ain’t cuttin it. But damn if you want to act like loyalty is your virtue and you’re a man of your word... finish your first contract at least?

Honestly that shit probably happens all the time when a team is frustrated from losing and a player loses their cool on the field. Coughlin is a fuckface but I’m sure other players have dealt with similar conflicts with coaches who scolded them, and moved on instead of blowing up their whole role on the team.

Last year was bad but this is the NFL, 98% of players are gonna be on a team during a painful losing season at some point. It’s lame that’s he got this sour after one year of bad fortune (we started last year 3-1)
