Demand more money on your next contract by all means... but don’t act like you didn’t know what a rookie deal is when you signed it after the draft. The rookie pay scale is a very set structure and it applies to every player. Ramsey was not getting screwed.

 

I would never promote my best server to manager because they're the best server.

 

Weird since Goff, Wentz, Bosa and Zeke all have their extensions. Aren't they also first round picks in his draft class? Oh yeah..they are.

 

Also like...it's not like he had a choice in the Rookie contract. You keep saying it like he was like "fuck yeah i want this deal" as opposed to "this thing is fucking bullshit and stupid but since i'm elite i won't have to deal with it nearly as much because i kick that much ass" which he does.

 

I mean Zeke held out for more money and there's a difference IMO between holding out for more money and immediately being like "welp time to ask for a trade"

What I’ve gained from this entire situation with Ramsey is that Coughlin is...a petty ass bitch...

 

He hasn't said exactly what they said, but he got into it with Marrone on the sidelines and then he said Coughlin disrespected him in a 1 on 1 meeting afterward.

 

Coughlin too. I’m not defending him. He shouldn’t have said whatever he said to make Ramsey want to act like a punk in the first place.

 

Never thought I’d see a Jags fan take a pro-Coughlin stance in this Ramsey situation, but here I am on chorus dot fm

 

But that doesn’t mean I have to support how Ramsey reacted either. Both sides handled this poorly

 

Did you not just read the 3 times I’ve said in this discussion “fuck Coughlin for this drama in the first place”

 

It's just the worst cause it's always dudes who act like they are pro-player until it effects them... every time.

The Marrone spat was a non issue. Ramsey clarified he’s fine with Marrone. It was all Coughlin.
