Well, if Im the Chargers, Im taking the absolute best offers I can for Rivers and Gordon right now. Get some draft picks to help reload, try and get a top 10 pick for a new QB, and use that cap space in 2020 to reset.

 

No one wants anything to do with the Phillip Rivers 4th quarter purgatory

Eh, maybe not...but Carr, Cousins, etc are guiding winning teams as garbage QBs.

Its more that the Chargers should get any value...because between a few deals they'll work next year (Bosa, Allen, etc) and the cap space they can save (Okung, a few others), they have a TON of cap space. Might be one of the best positioned teams to find a young, cheap QB and have a 3-4 year window to be really great. And Gordon/Rivers arent a part of that
