Eh. I wouldn’t call it a “good” roster. Definitely has some players I like to root for so it is a “fun” roster. But definitely has gaping holes even without the injuries.

 

I’d take JAX roster healthy over WAS roster healthy pretty easily, even with the whole, Myles Jack’s awareness is hit or miss and he’s the MOST experienced member of our LB corps

Without Ramsey our roster is at best “fairly good”. That’s if Minshew, Fournette and Chark keep this up. So I ain’t calling WAS “good” when I’d put them below us.

So, I never told all y'all this but my girlfriends son was diagnosed with a mild case of torrets and he has a bad twitch because of it. Well today he said he didn't wanna go to school because a couple of kids have been bullying him over it.

 

Kids are fucking mean. I wonder if it's a reflection of their parents or if kids are just mean little shits. Definitely something I worry about with my son.

Definitely something she needs to talk to the teachers about but that won't be a fun conversation.

 

The thing I'm worried about is that the teachers may not care enough, if it's a reflection on the parents that will piss me off even more.

Man that fucking sucks. I had a friend growing up who had that too. He was lucky enough to go to a small private school where the class was small and pretty bulky-proof.

 

That’s awful, I’m sorry to hear that. Anything with Tourette’s or speech impediments or stuttering breaks my heart. Helping people with those would be a dream career.

 

I had a speech impediment growing up and it was brutal.

I would definitely try and speak to the teacher about it. If they won't do anything, try reaching out to the bully's parents. If that still doesn't work, I would tell my kid to rough up the other kids if they continue to talk shit.

 

I remember a kid when I was like six or something and he had a bad stutter. I remember having lunch with him at school even though he was a few years older and he was as nice as can be but clearly struggled because of it. Now decades later and I still think about him all the time. I asked my brother if he remembered him and he said he did and he also thinks about him all the time.

It’s strange how some people can affect others so deeply even though you barely know them.

 

I worry about my kids being bullied nonstop but lately I've been afraid of my kids becoming bullies, like them just seeing other kids be mean and deciding to be mean too. They haven't shown any signs of that and I know they're sweet at home, that's what makes it scarier to me that I could not know about it, idk.

Being a parent is mortifying at times
