Minnesota has literally 0 WR depth behind their 2 studs. I Can't see them trading either one in season.

I think Mike Zimmer would prefer to have only tight ends as opposed to wide receivers

Hopefully now all the pundits will stop talking about the trade request until there is something actually newsworthy that comes out.

Agree 100%. Im tired of all this manufactured anxiety. I’m glad Schefter came out and changed the narrative... because he’s usually dead-on, and I got real worried when he was reporting the trade like it’s a sure thing.

Like, Ramsey is an emotional dude. Sometimes he just busts out and says shit and then calms down later haha. The best thing we can do is just keep winning and make cap space for him and then hit him with a giant contract offer once the dust settles.

  22. I don't think majority of that stuff was manufactured. Dude came out in a presser and straight up said he wanted out.

This is a timeline of “days” in a slow developing situation. We all know he’s not getting dealt by the deadline, so we’ll see how he feels in a year. Personally I think him “feeling disrespected” would go away if we paid him, and he especially might have a change of heart if Minshew keeps reminding the locker room what it feels like to win.

I said it was manufactured because Ramsey being unhappy right now does not at all force the team’s hand to trade him, and it was never going to be a knee jerk reaction by the team to let him go.

I mean we went 5-11 and then started the year 0-2, Jags had hit a very low point when Ramsey requested the trade. If we can turn this season into 9-7 and make a clear commitment THIS offseason to get Ramsey on the books then we have a chance to keep him.

(Firing Coughlin would help too but i really don’t trust that the Jags will do that)
