It's fun to make fun of Simmons even while listening to him, much like Chris Berman, Stephen A Smith or Mike Francesa. I don't think anyone takes him all that seriously

 

As someone who doesn't live in the Boston area anymore it's nice to hear takes that remind me of my idiot/intelligent Boston friends lol

 

Honestly all of you guys who frequent this thread are my favorite sports pundits and it’s not even close

I think that big wig media pundits are all garbage who give in to the “sensationalism / conflict sells more than accurate / fair commentary”

 

Minshew > Foles

 

So far Minshew is playing definitively better than a handful of other starters in the league. Its not even a stretch to say that he belongs in a starting role. Right now he’s proving he can handle it.

There was plenty of reason to doubt Minshew. The thing that was underestimated was his intelligence. His ability to so quickly learn a system that was entirely different from the one he played in college, one that has produced a grand total of 0 good players under Leachs tenure, is massively impressive. Dude is showing me things now that he didnt at Washington State.
