I feel bad cuz I know it's like 2 underpaid stadium staff members that are gonna eat shit over this but I'm glad the organization is continuing to get laughed at and hope Snyder and co remember the laughter when they're dead

It's extremely small sample size, but Sunday proved the Panthers have legit weapons on offense. We just need someone who can get them the ball. And that's not necessarily a big criticism of Cam. He has been injured for over a year. But he missed so many open receivers in the first two games. And when he did get a completion it was rarely in stride.

Even though it was against a bad defense in Arizona, Kyle Allen made some throws that I really don't think Cam could make even when healthy. He hit Samuel on the run down the sideline, found Olsen in the back of the endzone while being pressured (and it was like his 3rd or 4th read). It's only one game but he has me excited. He doesn't need to be a pro-bowl caliber guy. Just get he ball to DJ, Samuel and CMC and the offense will be scary. All three of those guys are game changers.

 

And I’m confident the Cardinals would’ve beat the Steelers in the Super Bowl, if that egregious “illegal block in the back” RIGHT in front of the camera on national TV, got called... because it would’ve called back James Harrison’s defensive TD with 0:00 left in the half.

Let’s not act like fortunate events don’t influence these outcomes as well lol

 

Hahaha that’s awesome. Boselli is a super approachable guy, I guess being an offensive lineman means you’re not famous enough for people to bum rush you lol. I’ve met him as a kid at a boat show in Jacksonville, he just was shooting the shit with my dad about boats lol

 

I mean nothing happens in a vacuum

There's even an argument that had the opening snap of the Broncos-Seahawks Super Bowl wasn't completely botched, the game wouldn't have been a blowout

(I'm not confident enough to say that the Broncos would've won but I do think it could've been an actual match and that just set the tone so heavily and fired up the Seahawks to the point of no return)

 

Oh I wouldn’t make THAT excuse haha the Broncos had the whole game to turn that around. I’m not gonna make excuses for momentum if the game was never close.

But when the Steelers won by a GAME WINNING TD and barely scored enough points in time... it definitely matters that an obvious penalty didn’t get called at the end of the half, and it made a 7 point difference.

Normally you could say “even if the return got called back they still could’ve scored on offense” but time had expired in the half and the Cardinals got the ball after the half... so not getting called for that blatant penalty literally did give PIT a touchdown they wouldn’t have had otherwise

 

People hate on this super bowl but tbh I thought it was kind of fun. I like a good blowout

I'm not saying it fucked up the Broncos momentum, I'm saying it gave the Seahawks unbelievable momentum haha. I know the Broncos had time to turn it around but I think it put the Seahawks in a headspace and gave them that unstoppable energy that allowed them to steamroll Denver.

 

Counterpoint: If I'm working for Dan Snyder why would I care that much

 

It’s funny cause before I knew about Peyton Manning’s “balls on face” scandal and his subsequent slander and libel toward the victim, i felt bad for him about that Super Bowl since he broke every record that season.

Now that I know he never faced any kind of punishment for a disgusting example of sexual harassment, I am retroactively thrilled he got pwned 43-8 by my current favorite quarterback’s team.

 

I liked having the freedom to go to Taco Bell during the game and not worry about what I was missing

 

I would care about Fletcher not Snyder haha. Fletcher is a good dude who has been proactive in the community, and he was a great linebacker who gave his all-pro talent to two shitty teams and was loyal. I’d spell it right to honor him not to make Dan Racist happy.

Troy Aikiman can be petty all he wants. He’s dumb af and I hate listening to his dumbass every week with his pal Joe Buck. This is the same guy who said he believes Robert Woods is the best WR in the league. His opinion on anyone in the NFL means nothing to me.

 

I don't wanna argue it because I'm putting off WAY too much work right now but I just wanna say that I do think Joe Buck is underrated as hell for football play-by-play

 

Woods’ teammate is the best WR in the league.

I always like the what-if game because everyone here is contstantly doing the "what-if David Tyree didn't catch it" while i'm sitting in a corner saying "What if the Patriots didn't blow it against the Colts in 06. Rex Grossman would have been the easiest opponent ever."

 

Joe Buck’s voice is the default “announcer” voice I imitate

 

No I know I’m just saying like, that may have been unfortunate but it’s balanced out by another SB that went your way

 

You don’t already have Rodgers over Elway? Man it’s not even close to me haha

Elway is the perfect example of why you can’t cleanly rank QBs based on their accolades haha. I mean don’t get me wrong he was clutch but that 79.8 career QB rating is painfully average even for the 1990s

Elway's an all timer not for what he did in stats and accolades but how he did it

But yeah in terms of rankings he ain't there
