I just remember checking the Texans subreddit pre-draft and while I wasn't the biggest Watson fan for a while until like a couple weeks before the draft, there were people there posting "Why should we draft Watson when we can get Nathan Peterman in the 2nd???" and yeah every fanbase sucks.

 

Sure, those kind of fans are annoying but every fanbase has them. For example, no matter how integral Wentz was to getting y’all the first seed, I’ve had discussions about how Wentz earned a Super Bowl championship and that he might as well be considered the 2017 MVP, when neither are true.

Could he have? Quite possibly, but he didn’t and some people can’t or won’t admit it.

See, but in fairness though I don't think Foles could have sustained that type of Wentz level of play for a full season if he was the starter from game one and on.

Sure, I don’t disagree with that. My issue is just people happily “giving” Wentz the MVP and Super Bowl win in their mind.

 

I was a big Carr fan, than yeah he got hurt and shit the bed ever since.

 

He was like Wentz. Having an MVP like season then got hurt and it was over.

 

See, this is kind of news to me because not once have I heard anyone in the Philly area suggest he deserves full credit for the SB.

Stafford is super underrated if you look at his career as a whole. Dude has been the lone bright spot in a sinking ship for so long.

He could have definitely been something with better coaching and talent around him.
