And to be clear, it is 1,000% valid to point at shitty play by supporting offensive players as a reason why a QB is struggling or losing games, but it’s super clear that Dak was not afforded that while seemingly every other QB is. That’s all I’m saying.

Niners completely dominated that game yesterday. Only reason it was close was because of some of the flukiest turnovers you'll ever see

 

Wentz is one of about four Eagles on the team that played above average yesterday so I'm not sure where this narrative that he's "struggling" is coming from

 

It comes from idiots. People hate on Carson because he got hurt. He is injury prone but great when he plays. After Foles won them that SB everyone is going to find a reason to complain about Wentz. He deserves more respect.

 

I think that ridiculous paycheck he got is respect enough

I specifically included “and/or” because while he is playing well for the most part, he has had games or moments where he personally struggles, especially with turnovers.

 

And calling people idiots for stating that a players has struggled is pretty fuckin dumb, but that’s another thing altogether.

 

Understood. I don’t think Wentz is a top 10 QB or anything just that he’s better than the media gives him credit for. The Eagles as a whole are slowly getting worse. It’s tough to win multiple Superbowls because you usually have to pay those guys, or you lose them cause other teams paid them.

To each their own, but no. If I was starting a team he’s probably top 10. But if I had to play one game with a QB he wouldn’t be one of the 10 I would pick.
