I got confused because you see tons of comments saying “yeah if Foles was still our QB” lmao

 

It all really goes both ways. There's a lot Wentz needs to do better and there's a lot that's not his fault at all.

 

It’s true but he’s a net huge positive for that team still

 

Of course he is, it takes a lot for a QB to be a net negative

 

But yeah I learned that the Eagles should be VERY comcerned about their WR depth because Jeffery and DJax being hurt is........ DEFINITELY not rare. Same with Ertz even. That was an embarrassing performance by their other pass catchers.

 

But yeah Carson’s only issue for me is he’s too wild in the pocket. He runs around like a basketball player that's always trying to slam dunk lol

Really needs to condense his movements and flail his limbs a lot less... cause yeah he is a fumble magnet and he can sometimes take a bad pocket situation and make it worse. Efficiency is the game, he can be elusive but he’s a very erratic scrambler.

 

as a partisan bystander, a non-giants fan, and a guy who lives in the nyc area and has been an eli hater for over a decade now.... yesterday was one of the happier sports days of my life. Wait what? The Giants have a competent, exciting offense once Eli goes out? I'm shocked... SHOCKED

Yep, I agree. I feel the same way about Deshaun Watson too. Both QBs have flashed brilliance and are, at the very least, very good, but their pocket presence and tendency to hold onto the ball for too long I think causes them to miss some more efficient plays in favor of the big play.

It worries me at times and that’s why it’s frustrating to see Alshon, DJax, and Goedert all hurt because most of these other plebs practically require Wentz to be superman all the time because they can’t catch a fucking ball.

 

As long as I got Barkley for the playoffs, I'm good. Kamara will get me there
