They had a choice to draft OL

 

The Cardinals could've easily made this a better situation for Kyler Murray if they were REALLY dead set on drafting him

But since they didn't I am SO looking forward to "The Cardinals drafted Kyler Murray over Daniel Jones!" as a talking point that happens in the future

 

They drafted receivers first. It’s backward but like there is no pressure for Murray to be good in his rookie year anyway. They just better get OL next year hahah

 

Someone I know had Daniel Jones below Drew Lock and tried to say how people only think DJ looked impressive because the Bucs missed a game winning field goal lol

 

Imagine having one of the best running backs in the league and one of the best 1-2 Wide Receiver punches in the game and...just not calling plays for them.

I was ALL for the hiring of Freddie Kitchens this past Spring, but he seems so beyond over his head that I'm extremely worried about this team. Yes, the offensive line needs help, but the lack of creativity or even, sane play-calling is really an issue. Baker has had more than enough time on most plays but even he is backing himself into a corner by running away from the pocket and just not stepping up.

 

I mean given the state of the NFC West and where the Cardinals picked him I'd argue that there's pressure for Murray to be good in his rookie year. His hype was out of control.

I'm not saying that it MATTERS but there's certainly pressure.

 

But also I took Daniel Jones at 7 for the Jags in our mock draft because we hadn’t yet signed Foles, no one knew about Minshew and Jawaan Taylor / Ed Oliver / Josh Allen were gone.

And every single person, EVERY single person criticized that move. Even @CarpetElf who likes Jones too, thought it was way too early. So you best believe I’m keeping THOSE receipts and crowning myself if he continues to ball out.

 

...on the team that traded their 1st round QB after not being good in his rookie year.

Old news doesn’t trump recent news fam hahaha. We all become smarter fans over time. Also be aware of the fact that favorable predictions for the Jaguars are a lot less likely to be validated than for the Patriots hahah. It’s legitimately not as easy for me to correctly forecast a player / gauge our level of success or lack thereof

 

I laughed because I baited you into trading assets to move up and take him when there was no chance of him NOT falling to you. I even immediately said he's better than Murray and Haskins

I traded a late pick to move up one spot lol. Nothing wrong with making sure even if you have a hunch that team is bluffing. I legit don’t blame the Giants for getting baited into leapfrogging the Redskins because that’s still better than even a 5% chance that your rival spends the next two decades with YOUR guy at QB

 

My first draft for the ravens was pretty great

I do love how we’re moving the goalposts about me being correct about Jones though haha that’s cool

He was worth pick 6 to me anyways so I really don’t feel like I got swindled that hard

lol our first draft I traded for Brown when I was the Chiefs. Who knew just how right of a fit that would be.

 

Dustin and I both immediately knowing Burfict was a Raider before it happened was great.
